WOO - My Take on Triple H Liking The Rock's Promo Ahead of WWE SmackDown
Hello everyone it's @skyehi and I'm super excited to be back to continue my series on Wrestling events.
So, I was exploring what was new in the WWE, and there is something I noticed about Triple H liking The Rock’s promo on social media before WWE SmackDown. It got me thinking, I should say to you.
Firstly, isn’t WWE SmackDown always a big thing? And with legends such as The Rock and Triple H featured; you are sure it will be a fuss up. Then came The Rock attacking Cody Rhodes and guess who likes it? That’s quite a twist!
To me, that is my two cents. Indeed wrestling is scripted but it is also about respect for one another and brotherhood that goes beyond the ring.
When Triple H liked The Rock’s promo, it was not only breaking character but recognizing another wrestler’s work.
Apparently, they have had their share of battles in the ring among Triple H and The Rock. Beyond that, however, they are part of this big wrestling family. If you liked The Rock’s promo, it essentially meant “Hey rock nice one”. It’s like giving a thumbs-up to a friend for a job well done.
Again let us talk about the content of The Rock’s promo. Man he really knew how to hype up a match! He teased Cody Rhodes and talked about WrestleMania – classic stuff from The Rock.
He probably watched it and thought, “yeah that’s good stuff right there,” Triple H.
Now some may see Triple H liking The Rock’s promo as breaking character. But c’mon folks, its 2024 – wrestling has changed. Fans know it’s entertainment but they also love the realness behind the scenes.
Apart from that, social media has had a great impact. For instance, wrestlers are always available online to share moments with fans and engage with them; also they sometimes do not shy away from praising fellow wrestlers.
It is like an all new way of interacting with the audience and each other.
And you know what? I give props to Triple H for liking The Rock’s promo. This shows humility and respect towards wrestling as a form of art. It's almost like saying, “Well I may be The Game but I can still admire good promo skills.”
The wrestling’s ultimate objective is to have a story, charisma and larger-than-life characters.
On the other hand, the people behind those characters are wrestlers who endanger their lives every time they get into that ring; these are the individuals whose act amuses us and makes us believe.
You can take it from me: Triple H enjoyed The Rock’s promo. It went beyond being in character; it was more of a breakthrough which showed that even in scripted rivalries among pro-wrestlers, they do respect each other and like one another too.
And this folks, is what has kept WWE SmackDown alive for many years – it is not just a show but an association; it is a fraternity and surely one incredible journey.
