WOO - My Take: Paul Heyman and Damian Priest – A Pair Made in WWE Heaven
Hi there friends and as always you're welcome back to Wrestling Organization Online, WOO.
I was just having this cool idea about what the WWE could pull off.
Roman Reigns, remember how he recently lost his championship?
According to Bill Apter, a wrestling expert Roman Reigns should stop being managed by Paul Heyman and another person be put in his place. He suggested Damian Priest.
Damian Priest finally won his first major title at WrestleMania. He showed up with his Money in the Bank contract, and defeated Drew McIntyre.
This is a huge deal! But according to Bill Apter who has been following Damian’s progress closely, Damian would be even better with Heyman managing him instead of Reigns.
He is really excellent at his job. This has made him very famous and many wrestlers who have won various wrestling matches owe it to Paul Heyman. Therefore, if he worked with Damian Priest, it would be great.
Bill Apter’s standpoint appeals to me. Damian Priest is simply amazing and given a helping hand by Paul Heyman; he could be more than that.
Paul Heyman knows how to talk, grasp public attention and make his wrestlers look like stars.
Picture Damian Priest walking towards the wrestling ring with Paul Heyman beside him hyping him up to the crowd. That would be awesome.
Additionally since he also works behind the scenes for example during negotiations and contracts amongst other things maybe even Damian can benefit from having Paul around as well.
WWE considering this would be sensible. Damian Priest is a WWE Main Eventer in the making with all the talent, look and charisma he has. However sometimes it only takes a good manager to take someone to the next level.
But I don’t know whether Paul Heyman is going to stay with Roman Reigns or go elsewhere in WWE. Nonetheless, if they choose to put him together with Damian Priest, I will be so eager to see what happens
Ultimately, WWE is all about generating memories that fans will never forget. Paul Heyman managing Damian Priest could be one of those moments, I believe.
It’s like when Hulk Hogan got together with Mr. T or when Stone Cold Steve Austin joined Vince McMahon’s team. It’s not what people expect from them but it can become a legend.
That's what I think about it. Paul Heyman and Damian Priest may have been made for each other in WWE context. I just hope Bill Apter isn’t ignored by WWE on this one. Who knows? This might be the beginning of something incredible.
