WOO - My Take: Triple H's Role in WWE TV Production
Greetings to all of Hive and welcome back to Wrestling Organization Online, WOO.
Triple H, I think, loves wrestling so much but I don’t know if he has the ability to make a good story.
His lack of experience as a writer is what Vince Russo, a big name in the field of wrestling calls Triple H’s weak point for Monday Night RAW. This is the show that we all watch every week?
So here's WrestleMania which turned out to be blockbuster in terms of numbers. It was really hyped. But then WWE began announcing their new era right? On RAW Triple H also known as The Game initiated it himself only at the end of which he said they were targeting to have others broken. Isn’t that thrilling?
But Russo, he has opinions. He says Triple H is one hell of a wrestling match maker with no questions about that.
When it comes to connecting those matches with good storylines however, Triple H may be lacking. It’s like watching some matches in a row without anything really catching your eye especially if you are just a casual fan flipping through channels.
Now let’s talk about the latest RAW episode. Rhea Ripley gave up her Women’s World title? Isn’t it’s something big, right?
And then Sheamus showed up out of nowhere, him being a former World Champion. But the real shock? Chad Gable turned on his buddy Sami Zayn becoming a bad guy in the process. This keeps fans talking and coming for more.
Now, let me give my say on this. Though Russo may have a point on Triple H’s writing skills, I don’t think it is the end of the world.
Yes, maybe Triple H has to develop his storytelling skills but WWE has been here for decades. They’ve faced hurdles and overcome them. Moreover, there is an entire team in place behind scenes to make RAW the best it can be.
True enough there are areas that could stand some improvement in this regard. Maybe Triple H could hire some talented wordsmiths who know how to create suspenseful stories out of thin air which will keep us glued until the very last second .
And remember that RAW is not all evil. We still get those moments where we gasp, cheer and sometimes even shed a tear.
So, what next? But WWE has some big plans in place and it will be interesting to see how they turn out. Maybe Triple H will stun all of us by coming up with a revolutionary storyline for wrestling.
Perhaps he will take a backseat to someone else for a short time instead. Whatever the case may be, I’ll tune in to watch the progression of events. Thus, that is what being a wrestling fan entails; suspense, motion, and endless expectation of the unknown future.
