WOO - My Thoughts on AJ Lee's WWE Return Rumors

There is a rumor going on, that AJ Lee (who was a wrestler in WWE) may return to WWE especially since CM Punk is back. It appears though, at least for now, it is all just talk.
I also noted that there were some fans excited about her possible comeback at the time of Royal Rumble event but this did not happen. For the fans who hoped to see her back on the ring, it was quite disappointing.
CM Punk’s introduction as AJ Lee’s husband by Michael Cole during the WrestleMania 40 Kick-Off was hilarious. Just seeing them mentioned made me smile though she wasn’t present there.
The website SEScoops claims that AJ Lee has not been in any serious discussion with WWE of late. A person from WWE was quoted to have said that AJ is well liked and respected but at the moment she isn’t being talked about for a comeback.
I found out however, that there were talks leading up to the Royal Rumble event, but I don’t know beyond that.
This suggests to me even if she wants to make a big splash instead of just dropping by, AJ may be looking at it closely considering CM Punk was part of those discussions.
AJ Lee hasn’t been seen in mainstream wrestling since nearly ten years ago. Her last match occurred on WWE Raw in 2015. It’s been too long! I wonder what she has done during all this time. Maybe she has gone back to training or doing other things that fulfill her life.
AJ's return to WWE does not seem probable at this point but it’s pleasant news to hear that CM Punk is busy trying recover from a Royal Rumble injury. In case he intends to see his wife wrestle again, it must be hard on him being far away from the ring.
On the whole, I think it would be very nice to have AJ back in WWE one day. She was always fun to watch and also an amazing wrestler, who still has a lot to offer.
But for now, I just have to wait and see what will come about.
