WOO - Opinion Piece: WWE's Gunther and The New Day Drama
Hi guys, did you get to watch last night's Raw
Well what I observed from WWE Raw last night was just too much, man.
One of the highlight moment was when Gunther bounced back after losing his Intercontinental Championship. But things got a little hot when The New Day started to act like this.
Therefore, Gunther lost to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania XL. That’s not exactly a happy thing, is it?
However, on his return on Raw he seemed nonchalant about this. He even thanked Sami for taking the burden off his shoulder.
According to him, he will be participating in the King of the Ring tournament and if he wins that means he can go for any title he wants. He’s cocky as hell!
All of a sudden though; The New Day appeared out of nowhere and began taunting him. They were like, “Where’s your title, Gunther?” Isn’t that pretty cruel? It didn’t seem to bother Gunther though. He just stood there with an air of defiance about him.
The New Day’s Xavier Woods then went on social media to make fun of Gunther even more.
That is not cool. I mean, everyone loses sometimes, right? However, Xavier Woods was the King of the Ring before and knows how it feels wearing Gunther’s shoes.
The big question now is: Will Gunther win this tournament?
Honestly, I hope so. He is a strong wrestler and he deserves another chance at a title. Moreover, it would be amazing to have him shut down all those haters especially The New Day.
However, that will not be easy. Many others are also vying for victory in that tournament. Besides, you can never predict what WWE could take you through; it is always full of surprises
To sum up, the situation between Gunther and the New Day is getting very heated, and I am really excited to see what will happen next.
The only thing that Gunther needs in order to win King of the Ring tournament is skill, but he has got to play his cards right. This is a guy who should be cheered for so that he can emerge as a winner at all costs.
