WOO - Opinion: Should Bron Breakker Challenge Cody Rhodes for the Title?
Hi guys, once again welcome back to Wrestling Organization Online, WOO.
Bron Breakker’s possible clash with Cody Rhodes over the Undisputed WWE Universal Title may be a bad move.
This was mentioned by Aiden English, who once played in the WWE during one of his podcasts. For him, Breakker may not have been the best pick to go against Rhodes.
Breakker only joined WWE SmackDown a couple of months ago.
All he has done since then is win his matches. But this does not mean that Aiden English feels he deserves an automatic shot at the title.
Rick Steiner’s son is Breakker. He is young at 26 and has even managed to win the NXT Championship twice already! That’s quite something! In addition, he and Baron Corbin had a tag team title run down at NXT. Nonetheless, they lately lost their championships.
No match has been lost by Breakker since he joined SmackDown. He won against Dante Chen, Xyon Quinn and Cameron grimes. That’s a good winning streak for a newcomer.
Though, WWE has organized a tournament that will determine who will be facing Rhodes next. LA Knight and AJ Styles are in the final round.
They are scheduled to fight on SmackDown next Friday. Therefore, Breakker might not receive an immediate opportunity.
I understand why some people may be rooting for Breakker to take on Rhodes. Young and talented as he is, it would be thrilling to watch him challenge Rhodes for the title. But maybe he needs more time to prove himself on SmackDown?
WrestleMania XL has just witnessed Rhodes becoming the new titleholder.
This was a huge shock because he beat Brock Lesnar! Now he must defend it at Backlash France. But, who is he facing? That’s the million-dollar question.
I guess some fans might be for Breakker getting a shot.
Some of them may think that way too; he ought to hold on awhile. It’s one hell of a choice, anyways.
Breakker is definitely a future star in my opinion. Nevertheless, maybe he should wait for sometime before going for the belt.
He is still a rookie on SmackDown and there are other wrestlers who have spent more time there and deserve to get their chance as well.
Who will take on Rhodes next? LA Knight and AJ Styles are both great Athletes, so this would be an interesting match between them. Maybe down the line Breakker will get his shot too but we will never know until then.
