WOO - Take on WrestleMania 41: Cody Rhodes' Potential Opponent
Greetings to everyone and it's been a while since I shared a post. Well let's just say I was mourning the loss my Tribal Chief had at WrestleMania XL against Cody Rhodes.
So, I’ve been contemplating a lot about WrestleMania 41 and who Cody Rhodes might face.
There’s this guy Vince Russo who seems to be pretty sure who that will be. He thinks it’s going to be The Rock. But I have some thoughts of mine on this whole thing.
Did you see, Cody Rhodes just became the WWE Universal Champion, which is the highest title in the company. He defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, which was a very big deal.
Also The Rock did not stand aside trying to prevent Rhodes from winning this match.
Then all of a sudden The Undertaker jumped into the arena and changed everything.
Now, Vince Russo is saying that it will be The Rock versus Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. This is based on recent interactions between The Rock and Rhodes during WWE RAW fans may recall seeing them coming together for some reason or another there months back .
However I’m still not completely convinced yet as for me.
Definitely, The Rock versus Cody Rhodes would be a colossal match. It would have so many eyes on it and much buzz about WrestleMania. Nonetheless, do other wrestlers exist who could make for a viable opponent for the championship?
I mean, when you think of Wrestlemania, all that comes to mind is big surprises and awe-inspiring matches. Probably there is one new wrestler in WWE who is capable of challenging Cody Rhodes? Or perhaps we have a retired wrestling legend yearning to be at the apex again.
But I believe it will be interesting to watch whomsoever will come out as the first contender for Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes. There’s infinite opportunities for a fantastic story and unforgettable moments leading up to WrestleMania 41.
However until then, I’ll keep my eyes peeled hoping for show stealing announcement of an undefeated bout by any means necessary. After all this is what makes wrestle mania special: surprises, frenzies and historical ring moments.
