WOO - The Rock's Warning to Cody Rhodes: WWE Drama Heating Up
Greetings to everyone and welcome to Wrestling Organization Online, WOO.
Wrestling fans, the suspense is about to begin.
This week on SmackDown, The Rock has given a cautionary message to Cody Rhodes, who just won as the undisputed WWE heavyweight champion.
Just to be clear: Reigns lost his champion status to Cody Rhodes as did every one of us expect. However, tonight LA Knight and AJ Styles will square off for the opportunity of being the first one to challenge Cody at Backlash in next month.
And that’s not all! The Rock also known as ‘’The Final boss’’ caused some stir this time round. And he was onto Instagram just telling Cody Rhodes that he intends to make him bleed again down the line. Yikes.
Wait, let’s go back a bit. During Night 1 of WrestleMania XL, The Rock and Roman Reigns took on Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes in a team match.
The Rock and Roman won so that the following night Cody Rhodes would have to take on Roman Reigns under Bloodline rules.
But do you know what? It didn’t quite turn out as planned for The Bloodline. They were joined by The Undertaker, John Cena, Seth Rollins, and Jey Uso during the match to even the odds against them.
And here is more! After WrestleMania, Taker himself confronted Rhodes at RAW and warned him that he would come for him when he came back. What a build up.
Okay, let’s look at The Rock here. Of course he is a big name in Hollywood, but deep down inside he is a wrestler.
Diamond Dallas Page, another icon of wrestling said it himself. The Rock may be a superstar; however his love for wrestling has always been there.
And guess what folks? After WrestleMania XL on RAW, Diamond Dallas Page even presented Cody Rhodes with an enigmatic gift. What can that be? I guess we will find out and see!
So where do I stand? Well, to me it is getting very interesting! SmackDown is now even more exciting to watch due to the tension between The Rock and Cody Rhodes.
I mean, who is it that cannot enjoy a good showdown between wrestling legends? And with The Rock promising to make Cody bleed, things are definitely going to get even wilder!
As for Cody Rhodes, he’s making a good account for himself as the champ. But he will have his work cut out for him against The Rock and other wrestling legends.
And LA Knight and AJ Styles are not ignored either. Tonight’s match to determine who’ll face him first at Backlash is going to be epic! Who do you think will come on top?
All in all, I am enthralled by the drama and thrill right now in WWE. With The Rock’s cautioning of Cody Rhodes, Diamond Dallas Page’s enigmatic present and the forthcoming SmackDown contest; I am almost bursting out of my skin!
So strap yourselves in wrestling fans! It’s going to be one hell of a ride.
