WWE SmackDown Report: Triple H Talks About The Rock's Actions at Wrestlemania 40 Kickoff Press Conference

It's @skyehi and following last night's awesome Smackdown event, Triple H has addressed the Rock's Actions at Wrestlemania 40 Kickoff Press Conference.
- The people's champion literally slapped The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes.
The fans were thrilled after the previous night’s WrestleMania 40 Kickoff media event. WWE has promised to deal with last week’s SmackDown drama when Cody Rhodes, allowing The Rock grab all the attention from Roman Reigns.
Cody at the press conference took everyone aback by interrupting The Rock and Roman Reigns only to say he had changed his mind and would face Reigns at WrestleMania 40.
Reigns insulted Cody’s father Dusty Rhodes before Cody hit back by stating that their ancestors would be ashamed of Reigns’ conduct. Consequently, The Rock slapped him.

Later tonight at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC, Triple H will talk about what happened between The Rock and him at the Las Vegas press event. Will there be repercussions for Cody? With Dwayne Johnson now serving as a director on WWE's Board of Directors, anything could happen
WWE SmackDown Results (February 9, 2024)
The first moment of SmackDown live was when Triple H arrived at Spectrum Center. The broadcast then featured highlights from the WrestleMania XL Kickoff presser. Following the video, Triple H stepped into the ring along with Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce.
Triple H spoke to the audience as they chanted “Rocky Sucks” and took a shot at The Rock for not understanding his place.
He confirmed that Roman Reigns would be putting his WWE Universal Championship on the line against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40.
Nick Aldis informed that Seth Rollins’ next opponent for World Heavyweight Championship will be decided in Elimination Chamber.
It is Randy Orton, Lashley Bobby, AJ Styles, Ivar, Dominik Mysterio and the rest of them (Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn) that are to be part of the men’s Elimination Chamber match according to Adam Pearce.
Drew McIntyre also hinted that he was responsible for Cody Rhodes selecting Roman Reigns as his opponent and even managed to throw a jibe at CM Punk for being overly opinionated. Furthermore, AJ Styles broke in on their talks and this turned out into our first qualifier where Drew McIntyre came out as the winner.
Drew McIntyre qualifies for the Elimination Chamber. That means he will most likely face Rollins unless Punk comes back.
