Splinterland Season Reward - Details on Reward Cards and Renting

Well, the post from yesterday didn't gain the comments I was hoping for. I was asking where might the best 100$ be spent.

This post is a rewards post from my 2 of my accounts. I thought I would show you and also show what I rented to help me earn these rewards ( not saying I made a profit).

We all know this is a chance game with renting cards and gaining profit but it can be done I think with a higher league more so than bronze. Why you ask? Well, the more chest you open the more chance you have at them awesome legendary and gold cards. With that, I have to say the higher the league the more interesting the game gets with new rule sets and leveled-up monsters.

Well, let's take a look at what's I got in my 12 chests from each account.
The first account which is my main @skylinebuds got a few cards with two actually being old reward cards.

The first is a new common neutral monster called, GARGOYA LION COMMON Neutral Monster. This is a 6 mana 2 armor 6 health 1 speed with 1 melee attack.

This is not actually too bad if you're building a 99 mana deck. At level 5 it has "void"( Reduced damage from Magic attacks)
At level 9 it also gets "Enrage"( Has increased Melee attack and Speed when damaged)

At the max level of 10, it has 3 attack. 3 speed 7 health and 3 armor. This is actually a nice tank for level 10.


The second card I got was GARGOYA DEVIL RARE Neutral Monster, This is another neutral monster but of rare quality.

With it being 7 mana it has 2 ranged 2 speed, 1 armor, and 3 health. With the ability Flying and Close Range.

Close range is a great ability for ranged attackers as they can fight from the first spot at beginning of a battle or can fight from the first spot if your tank dies.

At level 4 it also gets the ability deathblow(This monster does 2x damage if their target is the only monster left of the enemy team).
At the max level of 8, it has 4 ranged attack, 3 speed, 2 armor, and 5 health making this another great card for a 99 mana deck.


The third reward card was an older reward called NIGHTMARE COMMON Death Monster. This is not a bad thing as I think the old reward cards will go up in value.

This is an 8 mana with 1 melee attack, 4 speed, and 10 health. This has the ability blast( Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster)

At level 6 it gains the stats of 2 melee 6 speed and 11 health but also now has the ability Phase (Magic attacks can miss this Monster (using the same hit/miss calculation as for Meeker and Ranged Attacks).

When it hits the max level of 10 it gains the stats of 3 melee, 7 speed, and 13 health along with the same 2 abilities. This makes this a massive tank for death splinter.

The fourth card I got for reward was the Harvester card, This is also an older reward card.

With this card, it will cost you 5 mana for 2 melee, 2 speed and 7 health earth monster.

This one doesn't start with any abilities, at level 4 it earns the ability Oppress ( Does double damage when attacking an enemy that has no attacks). After level 4 you go to level 8 before gaining another ability called Enrage.

When you reach level 10 or max level you will have the stats of 5 mana for 4 melee, 3 speed, and 10 health with the 2 abilities.

This is not actually bad but I haven't played with maxed-out cards to even know what's the best combination.


The 5th and last of the cards from this account is the PELACOR BANDIT COMMON Water Monster . This is a newer reward card.

This card has a mana cost of 3 with 1 melee, 3 speed, and 2 health. With this, you also get flying and sneak abilities.

The abilities stay the same even at max level but you will get 4 melee 6 speed and 5 health at max level of 10.

The rest of the rewards are 1 legendary charge, 1 alchemycharge, and 57 Dec.

I can say this season with rented cards didn't turn a profit on the chest for season end but I never included daily rewards. I will be tracking them all this time and seeing if I earn a profit.

The next account is @budwizard, I actually forgot for a while I even bought the spellbook with this account.

When I went on I noticed I had a few cards worth about 40$ now( bonus) even better was being about to play 2 accounts while I waited on recharge and in the end, may be able to earn some extra cards.

Now when it came to this account I was able to gain way better rewards so that's why we need to remember this is a game of chance with packs and reward chests.

The first card was another GARGOYA LION COMMON Neutral Monster., I won't explain this one again as it's shown above.

The second card was a LAVA LAUNCHER EPIC Fire Monster, This is one we saw in the sneak peek of reward cards.

When it is level 1 it is a clear tank with mana of 9 With 3 range, 3 speed, 6 armor, and 5 health with the ability close range.

At level 4 it gains the new ability stun(When a Monster with stun hits a target, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn) it also now has 4 ranged, 3 speed, 6 armor, and 6 health.

When it reaches its max level of 6 it has 5 ranged, 3 speed 7 armor, and 6 health but does not earn any new abilities.


The next card I got was the new reward card VENARI HEATSMITH COMMON Fire Monster.

This card at level 1 has 3 mana 2 armor,3 speed, and 2 health with the ability void armor(magic attacks hit this monster's armor before it's health)

This monster never gets attack but at level 6 it earns amplify ( increases Magic Reflect Return Fire and Thorns damage to all enemy monsters by 1). It also now has 4 speed 3 armor and 3 health.

When it is maxed out at level 10 it gains the ability thorns ( when hit with a melee attack, does damage back to the attacker) also has 5 speed, 4 armor, and 4 health making it a great monster at the end of a deck.


The next one is a PELACOR DECEIVER COMMON Death Monster,

This monster at level 1 costs 5 mana has the stats of 1 melee attack, 3 speed, and 8 health with flying.

When level 6 is reached it gets the ability backfire ( if an enemy Misses this Monster with an attack, The attacker takes 2 damage.) The stats Alos improve to 2 melee, 4 speed, and 9 health.

When it reaches max level of 10 it also gains the ability retaliate ( When hit with a melee attack, Monsters with Retaliate have a chance of attacking their attacker)

The stats also change to 3 melee, 5 speed and 10 health. This might be one of the most powerful death reward card In My Opinion.

The next reward card pelacor bandit which I already talked about above

The next is an interesting Monster with VENARI SEEDSMITH RARE Earth Monster.

With a mana cost of 5, it has 2 ranged 2 speed and 2 health but also has Scavenger ( Gains 1 max health each time any monster does)

At level one this makes it a great card to place in middle deck.

At level 5 it gains the ability poison ( Attacks have a chance to apply poison, Which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied)

Its stats Alos go to 3 ranged, 3 speed and 3 health.

When it reaches a max level of 8 it doesn't gain any new ability but its stats go to 4 ranged 4 speed and 4 health.

This is one power earth card and I think could be used in later leagues.

The last card from these 12 chests was DEMENTED SHARK COMMON Water Monster. This is an old reward card.

At level 1 it has the ability inspire ( gives all friendly monsters +1 melee attack)

The stats are 1 attack, 2 speed, 1 armor, and 6 health. This ain't a bad water monster at all.

When it reaches level 6 it gains the ability Thorns. It also gains see stats with 2 melee 3 speed 1 Armor and 7 health now.

When. It reaches its max level of 10 it's stats change to 3 melee,4 speed, 1 armor, and 9 health.

The other things are 1 legendary potion and 1 alchemy potion and 320 Dec. Making this season rewards much better than my main accounts.

This just shows that season rewards are fully based on chance and it's hard to show the profit in renting lower leagues like bronze.

Nice pulls on both fronts. I will like to believe that all chests are based on chance, that is, both seasons and daily quests. Moreover, the other day, I saw someone ope 3 chests and got over 50k DEC in it, so it’s not even about the number of cards opened that really matters it’s the quality of what’s in it. But ofcourse opening more chests increases the chances.
