It's NOT The Power it's The Cards.

So, as we approach the end of another season of Splinterlands, I found myself just short of Gold III league. Normally I regulary finish in Silver III league.
Unfortunately I only have 15000 playable power (my other cards rented out.) So, to qualify for Gold III, I used @peakmonsters to auto-rent a further 85,000.

This was all well and good, and as soon as the auto-rental completed I was placed in Gold III, I then made the mistake of trying to battle at this level and what a difference!!! I got hammered and lost quite a few battles. I did manage to claw my way back to Gold III but it certainly is a case of having the right cards and not trying to punch above your weight.

So, rather than 12 chests, I will be opening 22, however I will be sticking to the league I can comfortably play in until I build my deck up to take on the 'bigger' boys!
