Hello all Splinterland tribes,
Today I would like to share with you another battle with my 1st Legendary Soulbound reward card - Usut. When I got him, there is only 847 BCX in the circulation.

Firstly, let take a look at his stats

He is really a deadly dragon with Bloodlust and Fly ability at level 1.
He is suitable for

• High mana cap battle
• Advantage with some rule set like Earthquake
• Put him in the middle or back position, to have more chance to kill monster and getting stronger

And here is my battle

The battle rule

• 48 mana cap
• 2 rule set - Armored up and Stampede
• All Splinters can be used

My line up

Summoner		I want to use Magic attacks in this game to ignore 2 additional armors from Armored up rule. So I chose this guy to have 1 additional magic attack
1st position		Legionnaire Alvar with Void armor will stay longer in the game if my opponent also uses magic attack
2nd position		Sand Worm with Sneak ability to clear the backline monsters
3rd position		I put Usut in 3rd position because I think he can protect the 4th and 5th monsters with strong armor and health.
4th position		Magi Necrosi
5th position		The opponent monsters have a possibility of skipping their turn if they got attacked by Revealer
6th position		Silent Sha-vi

The battle

Round 1

• My monsters attacked ShieldBearer because of Taunt ability and opponent's monsters attacked my Legionnaire Alvar
• No monster was dead after 1st round.

Round 2

• I killed Shieldbearer but I lost Legionnaire Alvar and Sand Worm without any attack from them

Round 3

• Elven Defender got Stun this round and he could not attack
• Luckily, Magi Necrosi attacked Goblin Chariot with his Snipe ability instead of Elven Defender. Then Usut can finish Elven Defender and gain strength.
• Usut magic attack increased to 4
• My Silent Sha-vi was able to finish Pelacor Arbalest, the main attack dealer in my opponent's deck
• Then Revealer finished Goblin Chariot

Round 4

• To this round, I still had 4 monsters while my opponents only had 2
• My Usut easily put an end to Time Mage and the rest handled Supply Runner to finish the battle.
• Usut attack increased to 5.

This is an easy game because my opponent made a mistake when putting Pelacor Arbalest in the last position. If she/he put Pelacor Arbalest in the 4th position, her/his monsters could deal more damage to my monsters and win the game.
It's also an experience for me - always protect the main damage dealer and try to keep them alive until the end game.
