#Splinterlands - An analysis of new LP rewards

Hello all,
If you're a Splinterlands player or investor, you should aware that @sps.dao proposed a change in LP reward, which is replacing DEC with SPS in the LP reward
And Splinterlands already voted for the proposal with PASSED result.

As an investor, I would like to make an estimation of the impact on APR. I understand APR is not the only figure to be considered when I make the decision. However, I can not deny it plays a big part.

Now, let's take a look at the proposal

This is the current APR of each pool. I took it from #Peakmonster at the time I wrote this post.

And this is the APR with new LP rewards

• I'm investing in the bold pools in the above tables
• I invested a big part in DEC-SWAP.HIVE and its APR is reduced the most 😑 That's so sad. I think Splinterlands want players to burn SPS for DEC instead of swapping SWAP.HIVE for DEC, to increase the usage of SPS.
• With the low APR in DEC-BUSD and DEC-DAI pools, I expect the LP will be reduced in coming months
• SPS-DEC APR is least impacted and I will continue to increase the investment in this pool. Because I expect both DEC and SPS prices will be increased in the future.

However, this is all my personal thoughts and do your research before making any investment.
