Hello all Splinterlands friends,
This is my entry for the Battle Mage Secrets challenge.
This week's theme is the Up Close and Personal ruleset, so I would like to share a battle with it.

The battle ruleset

  • 32 mana cap - a low mana battle
  • Ruleset - Up Close and Personal and Silent Summoners
  • Splinter - Most Splinters can be used, except Earth Splinter

With these rulesets, I prefer to use Water Splinter which I have some good-speed melee monsters. Early attack will take the advantage in the battle.

My lineup

SummonerKelya Frendul - with Silent Summoners ruleset the monsters don't get any benefit from Summoner, but I chose this guy because I can use max-level monsters in Silver league
1st positionDiemonshark - the best tank in my Water deck. Trample and Enrage are the perfect combination, that makes him unstoppable in some situations
2nd positionTide Biter - another high-speed melee who can attack from 2nd position
3rd positionPelacor Bandit - a high-speed monster with Sneak ability to attack the enemy backline
4th positionUraeus - another monster with Sneak ability
5th positionDeeplurker - high speed, good health and good attack. I put him in this position to protect 2 sneaky monsters so they can deal more damage to the enemy team
6th positionXenith Monk - I hope Heal ability will help him to stay longer on the battlefield to protect better my monsters.

The battle

  • My enemy chose Fire Splinter with Exploding Rats in the 1st position. This rat did the 1st attack with its high speed. Luckily, my Tide Biter has Reflection Shield skill and he didn't get any damage.
  • My enemy also used the 2 sneaky monsters and they hit hardly my Xenith Monk, and this was when Heal showed the benefit.
  • Septic Slime has Stun ability and he stunned my tanker once. However, the enraged Diemonshark had 8-speed so Septic Slime could not touch him again.
  • Finally, my team won after 4 rounds

That's all for now.
Hope you enjoy this battle and have a nice weekend!
