Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - A no-die brawl battle
Hello all Splinters,
I’ve taken a break from posting my Splinterlands progress and battles because things have been hectic. I still play every day, but putting together a good post takes more effort than I can manage at the moment.
Now that I'm back and here is my entry for the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. In this post, I will share my recent Brawl battle with Water Splinters. Water is my favorite Splinter in Brawl battle because I have multiple choices with my deck, from low to high mana battle, and/or variable rulesets.
Here comes the battle
1. The ruleset
33 mana cap - a medium mana cap battle
CounterSpell - all the magic monsters will get the counterattack and Born Again - all the monsters will be revived 1 time after death.
All Splinters can be used in this battle, except Dragon.
I chose fray 13 and all the monsters/summoners' levels are capped in Bronze league. That means Common monsters are capped at level 3, Rare/ Epic monsters are capped at level 2, and Legendary monsters are capped at level 1.
2. My team lineup
Here is my team line up in this battle

| Kenya Frendul - my favorite Water summoner. He is extremely fit for this battle. He gives 1 additional armor and speed to all the monsters. My team can take the advantage with early attacks. |

| Diemon Shark - I chose him because he has good speed and HP. In addition, he has Trample skill that gives him another attack when he kills any monster. |
2nd position |
| Venari Marksrat - I chose him because of his Martyr skill. With Born Again ruleset, his Martyr can double the effect. |
3rd position |
| Musa Saline - With her Scavenger skill, the more monsters die on the battlefield, the more Health Points she has. With Born Again ruleset in this battle, she will increase up to 25 HP if she is the last one on the battlefield |
4th position |
| Isgald Vorst - she has good speed and melee attack. With Opportunity skill, she can target the lowest HP monster on the battlefield and kill it in the early stage of the battle. |
5th position |
| Merdaali Guardian - to restore the HP of the tanker |
6th position |
| Swamp Spitter - to Repair the 2 shields of a monster each round. It's very useful to protect the tanker |
3. The battle
In this battle, my opponent - Antsinmypants - chose the Earth Splinter.
The strategy is very clear. Antsinmypants wants me to kill Fungus Flinger when Antsinmypants puts it at the 1st line. With Born Again, Fungus Flinger will strengthen Flesh Golem twice. And Flesh Golem becomes a monster at the frontline, with 4 melee attacks, Heal ability, and gets the support from Wood Nymph with her Tank Heal. It seems nothing can defeat Flesh Golem in this circumstance.
