EoS 128 Earnings - 36 Gold Chest (0 EPIC / 0 Legendary).

Here is my data right before the end of the season:

  • 36 Gold vs 63 Silver Chest (last season)
  • 5-8 daily Silver Chest.
  • I Got 0 Epic, 0 Legendary, and 0 GF Cards; which is worse than my 63 silver chest from last season.
  • 14 SPS in EoS Season Gold Chest (which is more than the 7 SPS I got).

Here are the EoS Rewards:
$.35 cents vs $.17 cents (mostly from SPS value difference).

This season, I did move Gold and earned Gold EoS chest. However, I only earned 8 SPS more than last season (or about 18 more). Last season 63 Silver Chest had one GF card and one EPIC card. This season's 36 gold chests only gave me rare and common cards.

I understand that RNG is still at work and it is always possible for bad roll and luck roll to happen regardless of the color of the chest. If I was to look at it, then I would say my 63 silver chest from last season was better because the better cards are worth more than the 18-cent in SPS that I gained this season. Now because they are Soul-Bound (SB), it is harder to place a value on the Gold Foil card and the rare card because there isn't an open market that assigns a value to those assets today.

This is where having patience and collecting the small rewards adds up. In some seasons there is nothing special. In other seasons like #125, I got 1 new legendary card and a few other key cards that will add value.

I believe over time, they all add up to something of greater value in the future.

My SPS is at the end/start of the season:

Capturing this data is important so I can see the bag grow over time.

SPS tracker - Start of Season #129: 5091.85

This will show how much I gain each season:

  • Season 129: 5109 SPS (127 USD Value) on Feb 14, 2024.
  • Season 128: 4955 SPS (110 USD Value) on Jan 31, 2024.
  • Season 127: 4777 SPS (132 USD Value) on Jan 15, 2024.
  • Season 126: 4562 SPS (163 USD Value) on Dec 31, 2023.
  • Season 125: 4364 SPS (137 USD Value) on Dec 15, 2023.
  • Season 124: 4093 SPS (83 USD Value) on Nov 30, 2023.
  • Season 123: 3891 SPS (66 USD Value) on Nov 15, 2023.

SPS value has peaked and is now downtrending since season #126!
While my bag of SPS is growing, value is still level than on Dec 31.

My Deck (Bronze): $329 and 61K CP in Tradeable Asset.

Here is my current deck and Tradable Asset's CP power. I have about 20K in Soul Bound asset power.

Tracking this data shows how fast things can go up or down. I was in the ~$200 range for season 113 (see previous post).

My deck value peaked at around $580 before heading back down.

The last four seasons have been from $427 down to $329 today.

Summoner Levels (Soul Bound)

This is what my SB summoners look like at the end of the season. I still working on getting WHITE to level 4 next. This season, nothing has changed and it will take me several months for FRANZ RUFFMANE reach level 4. I would not be surprised if RNG gave me other cards so one of them will reach level 5 before Franz reaches level 4.

image.png

These soul-bound summoners are very important to a deck that is worth under $1K since many folks don't have enough resources to upgrade all the summoners. Many of my Chaos Legion summoners are lower levels than many of these SB summoners.

image.png

I am still looking at ways for me to get MORE Gold Foil and sell the Regular Foil cards. With SB rewards, I can't sell them yet, so it slows down the process of moving from RF to GF cards.

Believe me, I'm trying to get as many as possible, but I still have many missing BCX and missing cards in this current reward set. This is part of the fun in the collectible card games.

Gladiator Cards Updates

I was super happy to pull a Quora from the G-packs:

image.png

I had enough to level Quora to level 2.

image.png

Now the long journey from level 2 to level 3 begins. Because I play in silver leagues, these cards still get some playtime. If I was in the Diamond/Champion League, these cards would be so under-level that they might be on the bench all the time.

Wagons/ Rebellion / Land Update.

  • Land: 0
  • Rebellion: 0
  • Wagon: 0

I don't own one Rebellion Pack or card. I don't have any "extra" cards since I am still building my deck for the silver-level league. My deck is now between bronze and silver-level cards. My focus is to collect rewards cards and that is one way for me to continue to expand my collection. This is the reason why I play in the Wild Format, so that all my cards can be used, without having to "rotate" or buy new packs/cards.

All low-level players can do the same thing. I have a few cards from untamed set so I rather play in Wild. I understand that I get fewer rewards, but I do find that Wild is a bit easier than the Modern format.

Splinterlands is a #play2earn NFT game that can be fun and profitable. All it takes is some time and a few assets to play. Your number of assets should grow over years of collecting cards and rewards from the chest. I think value will come from owning as many assets as possible.
