With the arrival of Riftwatchers many new options for battles emerged, as well as many new strategies to be used. In this post I will talk about the Bramble Pixie card and why I consider it to be an excellent choice to have in battles.

The first thing you need to know about the Bramble Pixie is how to find it within Splinterlands and for that you just need to go to the marketplace or collection and filter by: Edition - Riftwatchers / Rarity - Common / Element - Earth / Role - Monsters. After that, just click on the Bramble Pixie card and you will have access to its information such as statistics, purchase price, rental price and also your LORE.

Who is Bramble Pixie?

Bramble Pixie is a common card from the Riftwatchers edition that belongs to the land deck, its attack type is melee and in the initial levels it doesn't call much attention because its speed is low but it has a great amount of attack and life. To understand more about the Bramble Pixie beyond its statistics you can read its LORE that I will leave at the end of this post.

The image above shows you an overview of the card and to find it you just have to follow the steps I mentioned before to find the Bramble Pixie card and go to STATS, after that you will have the same information as shown in the image above.

At low levels its speed doesn't stand out much but as soon as you use the Bramble Pixie at higher levels you will realize that its speed isn't bad at all so it won't be a problem, but even at low levels it can be very useful especially if you use in battles with the Reverse Speed ​​rule since the card with the lowest speed attacks first in this rule.

As soon as the Bramble Pixie increases in level it gains new statistics and even a new ability that I will talk about soon, its main focus is on its attack and life which are very high as you increase its level, but its main highlight is the ability Heal that it gains from level 6 and this ability makes Bramble Pixie even more powerful and useful in battles.

To better understand how Bramble Pixie's abilities work I'm going to do a quick explanation about them so you don't have any doubts.

Enable Level 1 (Reach)

The ability Reach can be used from level 1 so no matter what level you use Bramble Pixie, it will have this ability. Its utility is to make Bramble Pixie able to attack from second position, melee cards have the restriction of not being able to attack in any position unless there is an ability or battle rule that allows it, the ability is Reach is one of them .

Enable Level 6 (Heal)

Bramble Pixie's Heal ability can be used from level 6 and it will be the main highlight of the card because this ability allows the card to restore 1/3 of its maximum health. Healing abilities are very useful in battle because they allow cards to survive longer on the battlefield or even become unbeatable so it will be of great help to Bramble Pixie and even if she is in second position it will still be useful when she has to defend in the first position.

Let's talk a little about values ​​since for you to own the cards in Splinterlands you will need to buy or rent them.

There are currently 3 ways to get the Bramble Pixie card in your battles, they are: Buy it on the Marketplace / Rent it on the Marketplace / Buy Riftwatchers packs and try your luck.

If your choice is to buy on the Marketplace, then you can follow the steps I mentioned at the beginning of the post to find the Bramble Pixie card and after that go to For Sale to see what price the card is being sold for.

Its current value is $0.23 but it can cost more depending on how many cards you want to buy. Its rental price is also quite variable so I won't mention it in the post because it probably won't be very useful as it might look different when you look, but if you're renting a level 1 Bramble Pixie then it will usually only cost 0.10 DEC.

The third option is to buy Riftwatchers packs in the Shop, each pack costs 5$ in SPS and 1 Voucher, you can get bonus packs if you buy in large quantities. In my opinion it is not a very good option to buy packs if your intention is to get the Bramble Pixie because it is a common card so I believe that the best way to get it is by buying or renting it on the Marketplace, but you can also be lucky to get a gold foil from her in packs so it might be worth buying packs.

Mischievous and violent creatures, bramble pixies live in abundance on the forest realm of Folia, where they spend their time tormenting woodland creatures, laying traps, and making a general nuisance of themselves. They have a nasty penchant for wrapping the deadly hedge-scoke bramble around their blades. The sap of this bramble is known to enhance emotion—particularly anger—and the bramble pixie is prone to striking at their foes in a deadly rage, stabbing the life out of them.

When the Riftwatchers visited Folia, some of these pixies stowed away in their packs. During the journey through the rifts to Praetoria something happened to their wings and when they arrived they were unable to fly; however, you can always hear the angry buzz of their wings when they attack. While they’ve learned to avoid contact with the hedge-scoke bramble’s sap, the bramble pixies haven’t lost their mischievous streak, which can be a painful annoyance to their Riftwatcher allies.
