In splinterlands there are several decks to use and the dragon deck is one of them that in addition to having powerful cards also gives you the opportunity to choose a secondary deck to use in your battles, this means that in addition to the dragon deck cards you you will also be able to use cards from the water, fire, earth, life and death decks (but only 1 of these decks per game), in addition you will also be able to use cards from the neutral deck so if you choose a summoner from the deck dragon, you will be able to use 3 decks in battle.

Being able to use cards from other decks is a huge advantage but what makes the player want to use the dragon deck are its powerful cards and for this post I will talk about the Byzantine Kitty card, a powerful summoner that will enchant you with its incredible abilities. Uses in battles.

Who is Byzantine Kitty?

Byzantine Kitty is a legendary summoner of the untamed edition that belongs to the dragon deck, its mana cost is 7 and it grants the cards of the player who uses it +2 speed, the ability True Strike and it will also heal your positioned card in first position with the ability Tank Heal.

When the Untamed edition was released in Splinterlands each pack cost $2 but currently it is not possible to buy these packs for that price because they are already sold out so to get packs of this edition you will have to buy them from other players through the Hive Engine or the Splinterlands Marketplace in the option of other items.

At Hive Engine, Splinterlands untamed packs are priced at $19.88.

In the marketplace the packs are costing $24.6

Each pack will give you 5 random edition cards and you will get at least 1 rare card or better. As it is a legendary card, the chances of getting Byzantine Kitty are low, so there is another option to have it in your collection, which would be to buy the card directly on the marketplace.

Byzantine Kitty is currently priced at $360 level 1.

There is also the option of renting the card on the marketplace for a much cheaper price, but remembering that after the lease is over it will disappear for you and you will have to rent it again to use it in battles.

Stats and Abilities

As a summoner, Byzantine Kitty remains the same at all levels but it is necessary to have her at higher levels so that you can use cards of higher levels, the image below will better show the levels of cards that you can use with Byzantine Kitty in each of her levels.

Remembering that each league also has its restrictions, which are:

• Bronze League - Summoner Byzantine Kitty up to level 1.

• Liza Silver - Summoner Byzantine Kitty up to level 2.

• Gold League - Summoner Byzantine Kitty up to level 3.

• Diamond League - Summoner Byzantine Kitty up to level 4.

• League Champion - Summoner Byzantine Kitty up to level 4.

As I mentioned before, Bizantine Kitty grants allied cards +2 Speed, the ability True Strike, and it has the ability Tank Heal.

The True Strike ability will make your cards have a 100% chance of hitting the target, this is a great ability to have because it is very common for cards to miss the target, especially those that have low speed so having 100% of hit will cause your cards to extract their maximum potential.

The Tank Heal ability will heal the allied card placed in the first position for 1/3 of its maximum health, the minimum amount healed is 2.

Despite its high mana cost, Byzantine is an incredible summoner and even in battle where available mana is low she can be incredibly useful and for that I will give an example of her in battle.

BATTLE

My strategy for the battle is very simple and I have 3 main cards to execute it perfectly. The cards are Byzantine Kitty as my summoner, Agor Longtail as my tank and Scavo Hireling as my support card.

In this battle I was able to carry out my strategy perfectly and I also had some mana left over for me to add other cards that were very useful to deal damage.

The battle had the Weak Magic rule and 30 mana available.

Although Byzantine Kitty is an incredible summoner, she is only able to show her maximum potential if you have good cards so that she can be used well and for that Agor Longtail is one of the best options as a tank because in addition to having a lot of attack and health he also has very useful abilities like Flying that will increase his chances of dodging attacks, the ability Taunt that will make him the main target of attacks and the ability Void Armor that makes his armor useful against magic attacks.

The Scavo Hireling has no attack and its function is 100% as a support, the Serpentine Spy and the Xenith Archer will only be useful for dealing damage but the Serpentine Spy will be very useful attacking my opponent's back line.

• The battle started and everything happened as I expected, all the attacks were towards Agor Longtail and his ability Flying was incredibly useful because with the help of Byzantine Kitty his speed increased a lot so his chances of dodging also increased and in this battle he dodged several times from the attacks and this prevented him from being defeated before he received help from the supports.

• My opponent has very powerful cards with a lot of attack so it was not easy to resist his attacks but every round Agor Longtail was standing and with more life and shields thanks to the supports and he also caused a lot of damage in battle.

• While the front line was attacked by Xenith Archer and Agor Longtail, the back line was targeted by Serpentine Spy and I can't help but give credit to him because in a few rounds he was able to defeat 2 trouble cards from my opponent, which were the His Serpentine Spy and Fire Elemental. After defeating these 2 cards, my opponent's attack reduced a lot and now Agor Longtail was not in much danger of being defeated, now it was a matter of defeating my opponent's cards one by one until victory was achieved.

• After 5 rounds the battle was over and my victory was achieved.
