SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge! ANIMATED CORPSE

Welcome to another weekly battle challenge, this time featuring the Animated Corpse.
Death is one of my favourite splinters to play with, so this is a monster I've had the opportunity to take several times into battle and I think it's one of those cards people underrate a little given the fact it can serve as a pretty solid first line tank with the high amount of health and decent consistent two damage it has. I am not going to say it's the best tank out there for Death, of course that place is taken by the Haunted Spirit. But I am saying it is a very decent alternative with a lower mana cost, and which also happens to be extremely effective in the Reverse Speed game mode.

To BATTLE!
But how does it do in battle? Let's have a look.

This time we're up against Life. The Animated Corpse is our main front line here, and the body meant to absorb all the initial damage. We don't expect it to last through it, and that's why we placed the Haunted Spirit behind.

But look at that, The Animated Corpse outlasted the enemy's tank and it survived all the way to round 4. Its job is complete, and the Haunted Spirit can now take over.

In the end it was the healing ability of Haunted Spirit that brought the Victory home. But the Animated Corpse did show it can be a very viable alternative for a first line, especially in low mana matches, or matches where healing is forbidden or using the Reverse Speed rule set.
FINAL WORDS
The Animated Corpse is actually a pretty cool card. Since it is an Alpha/Beta edition card, it requires less copies to be leveled up, and the Void ability it gets when it reaches level 4 is no doubt VERY useful in the current meta. It's a sp3ktraline approved card, by no shadow of a doubt. If not for everything already said, just by the simple fact it reminds me of Minecraft Zombies for some reason.
