A Preview for SpinterForge and its Pre-Sale (I bought 160 Crates)

Recently I was looking for the alternative game beside Splinterlands and came to see Splinterforge.io had announced their Pre-sale and Airdrop plan .

Just give a little explanations about this game as my understanding:

1. SplinterForge is a game which uses cards from Splinterlands
2. This is a PVE game while Splinterlands right now is more PVP. And both of them are P2E. The main Token of SplinterForge is FORGE (Forgium)
3. The earning mechanism as I understand:
   => Build up your hero with Equipment, GEM and Runes from buying CRATE and Bags
   => Fight the bosses to earn fighting reward and climb up the leaderboard
   => Get big Reward when Boss is defeated

It also provides a test server which is Free to play with initial 100 CRATEs and BAGs for players to try how this game works.

After you enter your Hero page, here is how it looks like. you can equip different things to him and see how the Stats changes which the stuffs.

Below is the the leaderboard after you pick a boss that you want to fight. you also can see the reward for each rank after the Boss is defeated.

After you picked your team, then you start the fight.
Probably you also notices, you can select 2 Summoners and 1 Hero(in below case is the card with 11 magic attach.) and 7 monsters.
As the developer @Rarelyhere and @RareRaptor mentioned, the format of the battle will evolve later. Maybe multiple Hero, maybe other forms.... let's wait and see.

Once the battle is done, then you will see how much reward you get from the pop up window here. Then you can see how your rank changed on the leaderboard.

This is pretty much enough for the intro of this game. Below I just want to share something in my mind regarding the Pre-Sale.

After I tried the game on test server, I know how difficult to get an equipment to be 2 slot. and here is the Ring which you are not able to get from the CRATE So far until everything dropped. So this ring is seems interesting for me.

Besides the Ring airdrop at its launch, there will be also other airdrops potentially benefited from this pre-sale CRATEs/Packs purchase.

Currently, I'm considering to purchase 150 packs. So I did some estimation for the gain until 2nd Jan. - the game launch day.

To buy 1 CRATE, it costs either 3000 FORGE or 3000 DEC. So if I buy them with FORGE, it will cost me around 670 HIVE while this number will increase to be 1000 HIVEs if I pay with DEC. So I pick FORGE.

As of now which is 5 days after the Pre-sale start, the CRATE was sold around 7100. In another words, it's 1420 CRATEs/day sale.

With all above data, I did a est. with my plan - Purchase 150 packs, get 165 packs. Probably at the end of the pre-sale or before the launch day 2nd Jan. I at least can get 18.3K FORGE as airdrop which is around >>272 Hives<<.

Summary:

=> You can play the splinterlands cards in splinterforge.
=> The boss rewards on the leaderboard is significant => TOP 10 avg. 70k FORGE or >100 Hives.
=> Participate the pre-sale, it currently costs around 670 Hives in case purchase CRATEs with FORGE, or 1004 Hives with DEC for 150 CRATEs. ==> will get 165 CRATEs
=> By end of the airdrop, can get back 270 Hives(est.), this results the total spending on Hive is around 400 Hives.
=> By end of the pre-sale, it will be able to get 3 Legendary Rings with 2 sockets.
=> By end of each milestone, it will be able to get for sure at least 1 Legendary equipment which is not included in the CRATES. totally 4 at least. After dropped, then they will go into CRATE.
=> All CRATEs, equipments card will be able to be buy and sold in the market in later phase

Conclusion:
From what I can understand and see, the splinterforge is an interesting side game from splinterlands. the earning by climbing the leaderboard seems is attractive.
For the pre-sale, it seems to me is a quite good deal to participate before 12th Dec. 2022.
