My September Hive Power Up and Splinterlands Season End Progress

Hello, fellow Hive users! Lester here! How are you all doing today? It's already September, and here in the Philippines, the "Ber-months" mean that Christmas is just around the corner – or should I say that Filipinos will start celebrating Christmas. Time truly flies. Moreover, September marks the birth month of our firstborn. Oh my goodness, our child is already a year old!

Anyway, for this post, I would like to share my account's development over the last month, as well as my participation in this month's Hive Power Up Day. Over the past month, most of my activities on the Hive blockchain have involved playing Splinterlands. Since bots are now banned in the Modern Format, real players are enjoying the game while earning tokens.

To see if I earned anything, I downloaded my balance history and filtered it for the month of August 2023. It seems like I earned a bit! For the month of August, my account "akosilestr" spent 8,507.562 DEC. This amount includes rental payments and purchased energy. I also earned 1,765.895 SPS from staked tokens and tournament prizes. I believe the staked tokens came from Ranked Battles, Chests Season, and Focus and Brawls.

If we calculate it, 8,507.562 DEC is approximately 6.54 USD, and 1,765.895 SPS is around 30.24 USD based on current conversion rates. So, in total, I earned 23.7 USD for the month of August. This is in addition to the cards I earned on this account alone. The DEC I used to rent cards and purchase energy came from the curation rewards of my Splinterlands posts. So technically, I earned 30.24 USD for the month of August 2023.

As I have already staked a sufficient amount of Hive Tokens, or Hive Power (HP), in my account, I am now earning curation rewards from delegations. I've been using these rewards to further increase my Hive Power (HP). This month, I powered up an additional 10 Hive, bringing my total Hive Power to 1,331.109 HP.

I have gained 86.359 HP from my posts for the month of August and I hope to further increase my HP in the upcoming months.
