Splinterlands Fan Art Emote - Cornealus

Introduction

Hello everyone! Lester here! And I am participating in Splinterlands Fan Art Emote Contest! For my entry, I created a gif emote of Cornealus. I chose Cornealus because this monster card can be easily recognized even from afar, and I hope that my work is recognizable as Cornealus.

Card Reference

Drawing Process

I used https://www.pixilart.com to create my entry and created a blank canvass with a size of 16x16 pixels.

I then painted the first layer with black color.

Afterwards, I added a new layer and used white color to visualize the image of Cornealus.

I then used a purple color to be used as Cornealus tentacles and highlights to its tail.

And to finalize the image, I used a blue color to add the center of the eye.

I created another layer to create a separate image of Cornealus to show movement of its tentacles and tail.

GIF Process

I used https://ezgif.com/ to create the GIF of my emoticon. I duplicated both images and let the configuration as is.

Here is the final output.

I also saved a copy which is 48x48 for visibility purposes.
