Pirate's daughter Fiafia Haoa is trying to build a new life in Praetoria. But that all changes when she discovers treachery in her small village.
She discovers that the Venari have dug a tunnel leading from the Realm of Silence to a nearby warehouse where Doctor Blight plans to arrive in order to infect the village.
Fiafia sneaks to the warehouse and sees Doctor Blight rising from the opening of the trapdoor, surrounded by a green, necrotic energy.
Fiafia flees.
She tries to warn the townsfolk that Doctor Blight and the plague have arrived, but they don’t believe her.
Donning her father's hat and sword, she escapes by returning to the docks and sailing away.
