A Special Land Card in Memory of Lumina
The Splinterlands community will soon have the opportunity to come together for something truly meaningful.
Beginning September 1, Lumina Lightweaver, a special Land card created in loving memory of Lumina, the daughter of longtime Splinterlands community member Dwayne Cunningham, known to many as Infidel1258, will be available for a limited time.
Lumina’s story has touched many throughout our community, and this card was created as a way to honor her memory while helping support Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

🌿 Lumina Lightweaver
The Lumina Lightweaver Regular Foil will be available for $35 in USDC or Credits during the one-week sale period.
Lumina is a Common Land card and every Regular Foil copy will be delivered fully maxed at Level 10 with 400 CC.

- Collection Power: 2,100 CP
- Production Power: 2,000 PP
🌱 Max-Level Land Abilities
Energized
Lumina acts as a Power Core for any Land plot on which she works.
Light Rationing -10%
Reduces the amount of grain consumed by workers by 10% when harvesting on any Land plot where Lumina works.
Light Rationing has no effect on Castles or Keeps, or on plots producing more than 20,000 Production Power.
Proceeds from sales of the Lumina Lightweaver card will go to the SPS DAO, which will then send those funds to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
✨ Gold Foil
Gold Foil copies of Lumina Lightweaver will also be distributed fully maxed.
Players will receive one Gold Foil for every 25 Regular Foil copies purchased.
There will also be a 4% chance of receiving a Gold Foil through the distribution mechanics.

- Delivered fully maxed
🖤 Black Foil
Only two Black Foil copies of Lumina Lightweaver will exist, individually numbered #1 and #2.
Black Foil #1 will be given to Dwayne.
Black Foil #2 will be distributed through a special Fortune Draw.
At max level, the Black Foil carries:
- Collection Power: 24,938 CP
- Production Power: 5,000 PP
- Energized
- Light Rationing -10%
🎟️ Fortune Draw Proceeds
Fortune Tickets spent during this special draw will not be burned.
Instead, the Fortune Tickets will be placed on the market at $0.25 per token.
Proceeds from those market sales will then go to the SPS DAO, which will send the funds to the charity.

There will also be only:
- 1 Gold Foil Arcane
- 1 Black Foil Arcane
Each card will have its own auction event, with both auctions able to run concurrently.
Each auction will run for 48 hours.
🔨 Auction Mark Proceeds
Auction Marks spent during these auctions will not be burned.
Instead, the Auction Marks will be placed on the market at $1.25 per token.
Proceeds from those market sales will go to the SPS DAO, which will then send the funds to the charity.

✨ Lore: Lumina Lightweaver
In the whispering heart of Praetoria's ancient forests, where sunlight filters through emerald canopies like scattered jewels, lives a little girl named Lumina Lightweaver. She doesn't remember exactly when she came to find herself endlessly wandering these woods, but that doesn't bother her to any great extent. Lumina has always been able to feel right at home wherever she goes.
Roaming fields of wildflowers with pockets always filled with shiny pebbles and curious mushrooms, Lumina befriends every creature and traveler she encounters. Her laughter echoes through the trees, drawing shy squirrels from their nests and weary wanderers from their paths. But above all, she adores the frogs that hop along the misty riverbanks, often sitting for hours to sing them lullabies and share her berry snacks.
In these moments, when the wood grows still and the world is at peace, she'll reminisce on her life before the forest. A small cottage with a loving family. A wise father and a mother whose patience knew no bounds, along with two sisters and a brother she would play and laugh with every day.
In fact, it was her big sister Hazel who taught her to be brave and gave her the strength and faith to spread her light to the rest of the world.
One radiant dawn, Lumina was deep in thought and pondering where she should go next when she met her dearest friend and mentor, the ethereal Angel of Light, who descended in a swirl of golden motes.
The Angel saw the pure kindness glowing within the girl and lovingly nicknamed her Lulu, a name that felt like a warm embrace.
Under the Angel's gentle guidance, Lulu learned to channel her inner spark, turning everyday moments into bonds of trust and wonder. Together they explore hidden glades, where Lulu's frog companions love to gather in cheerful circles and hop around them.
Through her wondrous singing and graceful dancing, Lulu emanates a magical light that empowers all who witness it.
Withered flowers bloom anew in her wake, tired spirits find renewed hope, and the forest itself seems to breathe with fresh vitality.
Praetoria's woods thrive under her care, a living testament to the little Lightweaver who turns friendship into magic and light into life itself.
This special release is about more than adding another card to Praetoria.
It is an opportunity for the Splinterlands community to come together, celebrate Lumina’s life, support a cause that means so much to her family, and help her light continue to shine.
