Splinterlands has been a game I've played since Alpha. Sure it had some struggles during the bear market I still believe the team is very capable and the community to continue to build something truly remarkable here in not just this bull run but also the next!

Today I want to just show off some of my recent rewards, how I earned them and pretty much why you want to be involved with every aspect of Splinterlands as you possibly can be.

Daily Battles

Even if you're just starting out now I would highly recommend leveling up at least some of your cards ASAP or renting a few hour. Right now prices are dirt cheap to rent out a rather stacked deck of cards in order to start earning some rewards.

At the moment of writing this I'm currently in Silver and just shy of pushing into gold. I believe I'll be able to hit gold this season and maybe even diamond or for sure diamond in the next season.

I would also recommend staking all of your SPS you earn at first. As you continue to pile it up it will lock you in for better rewards and also help in building your vote value for the future of the game. Plus you'll earn SPS and vouchers as a reward on your staked SPS tokens.

From 12 Silver chests today I got the following...

That's a total of 13 common cards and 1 gold foil common card that will now help me towards leveling up cards and being able to maybe progress higher in my rank rewards.

I also locked in some potions which are always a plus for opening packs. Some SPS which will get powered up to earn more SPS and vouchers in the game. On top of that a few merits. Merits are mainly used in Guilds which I'd like to talk about next.

Guilds

Guilds are an increasingly important part of Splinterlands. I'd highly recommend you get yourself into a guild asap or even create one yourself and bring your friends in. Guilds offer great rewards over time of which some of them are opening up gladiolus cases which also help build your deck. These cards right now can only be earned through gladiolus chest and can't be sold or bought. They are some of the strongest in the game but are limited in their useage.

Today I was able to open up two packs for 10 cards total and landed this awesome Legendary!

Land

Land is going to play an important part of Splinterlands as the game continues to grow. Right now land is rather cheap and you could get a fully operational plot of land that farms you grain (which I recommend being your first building you make) for under $200.

Expanding on land a the moment in land 1.5 allows you to start harvesting SPS and research points which will lead to some epic unveiling later on. As it rolls into land 2.0 there will be many more building and resources to be made.

If you can I'd highly recommend grabbing up at least one plot of land and upwards of 4-5 to really expand your operations.

Renting

Do you have more than one card maxed out? Or have one you just don't enjoy using? Then you can rent it out to others and earn DEC tokens for doing so. This can be a great semi passive income source from cards you wish to not use.

Liquidity Pools

By taking two tokens such as Hive and DEC you can enter into a liquidity pool. These pools help to keep the flow of resources in and out of the game. By providing this liquidity you'll earn some fees from it in the form of the token or tokens that are within it and also SPS rewards that are provided as a reward.

Of course it's very important to understand What Is Impermanent Loss

There are other aspects to the game to earn as well that are not covered here. But I wanted to hit some of the high easy ones to start getting involved with today.
