Battle Mage Secrets: Keep your distance
Hello! The challenge for this week asks to share a game with Keep your distance ruleset. Here it is!
I m at diamond league but most of my cards are on gold level, but i can still kick some a...s 🤠.
That means that with the Keep your distance Rule Set, i will encounter only ranged and magic monsters so i can use Phase, Void, Void Armor, and Magic Reflect to counter magic attacks.
I can also use Headwinds and Return Fire to counter ranged attacks.
The trick of this ruleset is that Units with 2 types of attack (which include melee) cannot be used.

Rules:
12 mana.
All splinters allowed.
Earthquake: All non-flying monsters get damaged.
Keep your distance: No melee monsters allowed
Little league: Only monsters with lower than 4 mana allowed.
Let's talk about the line-up
The match was Modern, with Keep your distance, Little league and Earthquake ruleset with 12 mana..
Summoner: Thaddius Brud. I wanted a -1 magic drop
- Riftwing in the first position. This card drops the ranged attacks by 1 and has a good counter if the enemy misses the hit.
- Venari Bonesmith is in the fourth position. It is a powerful low mana card with poison attribute.
The game
Unfortunately chaos agent was exactly what the enemy needed to win the game over me. This monster stalled me enough from getting in time to the enemy's Riftwing. If I had to change something, I would have gone a bit more passive-aggressive with low mana monsters to feed my Riftwing enough OR go with a fully different splinter such as water with Baakijira and Ice Pixie.
