Lore & Gameplay #43

In the labyrinthine streets of the goblin city, trouble found a constant companion in the form of Katrelba Gobson, the eldest daughter of the notorious Rock Gobson. Her penchant for chaos and mischief had, on one occasion too many, teetered on the precipice of triggering a war with the astrally endowed Centauri people of the north.

🌌 Close Call with the Centauri Conclave 🌌

In an ill-fated escapade, propelled by the whimsical effects of poppypoof, Katrelba and her unruly cronies dared the unthinkable—they desecrated the most sacred shrine of the Centauri. A situation that would have led to dire consequences had it not been for the uncharacteristic leniency of the Centauri leader, Kron the Undying. The goblin city narrowly escaped the brink of war, but the diplomatic respite was short-lived.

🚨 Sent Across the Seas: A Father's Drastic Decision 🚨

Faced with mounting tensions and the potential cataclysmic fallout of his daughter's antics, Rock Gobson, patriarch of the Gobson Family, had to act decisively. Aware of Katrelba's combat prowess and toughness, he concocted a solution that would, at least temporarily, rid the city of her tumultuous presence. In an unexpected turn of events, Katrelba was enlisted as a Gladiator, a decision made with the hope that she could be someone else's challenge for a while.

⚔️ From Goblin Mischief to Gladiator Valor ⚔️

Katrelba's journey from goblin troublemaker to gladiatorial combatant unfolded across the seas. As she navigated the tumultuous arenas, the recklessness that once caused strife now found a purpose. The chaotic energy that once threatened war was redirected into the controlled chaos of the Gladiator's arena. Whether she would find redemption or new misadventures remained to be seen, but for the time being, Rock Gobson could only hope that the distant sounds of his daughter's escapades would echo far from the goblin city. 🌊🗡️

🛡️⚔️ Let's check on the game ⚔️🛡️

⚔️🛡Let the Battle Commence⚔️🛡

I chose to play with Earth.
I had a really good line to work with so I chose to hit with Melee instead of Magic.

image.png

Round 1

My enemy had a good line. I wanted to hit with Melee instead of Magic because i thought i would be expected and indeed, i was right.

image.png

Round 2

The taunt monster has fallen. The victory is probably mine. My line is keeping strong.

image.png

Round 3

My tank and taunt monster have fallen but have both done what i needed to be done. It stalled my enemy as much it could.

image.png

Round 4

My second tank is holding strong and I'm clearing all the backline

image.png

Round 5

Game set. My Gobson is unstoppable anymore.

🤔Why the Katrelba Gobson??🤔

The double hit with the gladius attribute? Yes sir!!!
Not much else. This convolution is enough to destroy the enemy.

🤑Tips to lower the rental cost for battling🤑

We don't need to rent all cards for the brawl, Some tips which will be explained are given below :

  • Rent only 2 or 3 types of splinter that suit your gameplay
  • Rent gold commons if you want a maximum earning, however, don't overpush it if the gold cards are too expensive.
  • Think simply, legendary cards are awesome but as the mana of some monsters increases, there is a smaller chance to be picked for the game. For example, I have stopped renting Raa or Chthulhu due to that fact.
  • Rent only what you like to play. If you don't "feel" it with a card then chances are that you are not going to use it too much.

Stay tuned as we continue our exploration of the most fantastic creatures that grace the realms of Splinterlands! 🗺️🔍 And remember, the power of strategy and tactics can turn any legend into an unbeatable champion! 🏆🌟
