Star⭐(@star-shroud) and Moros👑 (@m0r0s), here again with the next edition of the ⚔️ Brawls of Steel | End of Season Report ⚔️ Not only are we revamping the data collection process, but we've also added a brand new section to cover TIER 4 BRAWLS. Yup, that's right. Tier 4 brawls are up and running, and we've got the first season's results here for you. Plus all the top player results from Tier 2 and Tier 3. Read on!

SEASON 99

One more season to go until the centennial 100th splinterlands season. That's pretty wild if you think about it. Quite fittingly, it will also be a season in which SPS brawl reward are in full effect, in a mini-game that now includes four tiers and seven-hundred and eighty-eight (788) active guilds!

Really, it isn't that surprising. It's a simple fact that, these days, many players find brawls more fun and fulfilling than the ranked play grind. Players care more about brawls and most guilds (but unfortunately, not all) place more emphasis on hand-playing brawls and maintaining a standard of fair-play when competing in them.

Unfortunately, we still have some issues and bad actors. Automated AI-driven brawl bots (and tournament bots) used by some guilds. Other guilds waiting until the very end, to try and cheat by seeing their opponent's lineup on the blockchain (yes unfortunately, this STILL appears to be going on 😨 - don't worry though, karma is real and coming).

No doubt then, there are definitely some tweaks we still need (some took place recently, read here, while others are still in the works). Either way though, with a few more fixes, and few more loopholes closed, the brawl ecosystem looks ready to shine as a source of strength, and a beacon of fair-play and player interest for the community.

NEW DATA COLLECTION

We (and by that, i mean moros) are in the midst of reworking the data collection system. Therefore, this season, we are only able to report top players. We hope to be back with the top guild data soon.

In addition, as part of the rework, we've combined frays that have the same summoner and card limits, and added the ability to recognize and report ties. Going forward then, there will be no tie-breakers. If players tie, then both will be recognized.
