Light from Darkness. Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 22 Report 05.05.2023

Hey Splinters!

I've missed about five seasons of publishing reports, so it's time to look at what we have compared to two months ago.

It feels like it's gotten harder to play in the gold league, especially the last couple of seasons. Maybe it's the new soulbond cards that are appearing more and more on the battlefield. Or maybe it's the new combat conditions that knock me out of the saddle. After all, no one has a perfect deck for every condition, and there's not enough money for rent right now, since my own cards aren't bringing in much right now.

Thus, I'm trying to keep buying the cards I need to get a foothold in the gold league and not fly out of it periodically.

Today I'll show my purchases from the past month and reflect on the numbers through last season's stats from kiokizz

Match Report

My Ratio (Win/Loss) is 1.06. And I finished in 1309th position of the gold league. The longest streak is only 9 battles.

As I mentioned earlier, I stopped renting cards, so my stats have definitely gotten worse. My unbalanced deck is not yet ready to play consistently in the gold league. And renting my own cards is no longer profitable, as it's not really profitable with the cooldowns and the new battle energy regeneration system.

And considering I'm in my guild in the Thirteenth Fray, which requires gold foil cards, my cards can't be moved to another account to earn rental income. The creators' plans worked for me to some extent. I hope it works the same way with bots, so we can all see an increase in the economy of the game as a whole.

I'm still thinking about rationalizing the resources I have on hand. But for now, I'm still buying new cards as well. I also rented some cards today to increase my competitiveness this season.

Rewards Report

The awards also feel smaller and worse. If you compare with two months ago, it is so. The only thing that makes me happy all the time is the CL packs in the amount of 2 - 3 packs per season.

Well, since I haven't opened any new CL packs in a while, I'm going to do it right now. I hope I get lucky with the legendary gold foil. lol

Not this time... Of the two packs, only two rare cards and all the usual foil. Okay, let's move on.

No one knows how much these soulbond cards will be worth, but I really hope that they will at least serve me in future battles.

Rental Report

This part of the report is a pain in my eyes. My $500 deck so far isn't bringing me anything other than participating in battles and earning SPS.

This season I upgraded my Tarsa fire summoner to level 4. That is, I now have all 5 CL summoners of level 4 and a dragon summoner QUIX THE DEVIOUS of level 2. A complete max set for the Silver League!

SPS Report

276 SPS for the season is not a bad number. This part of the report probably pleases me the most. Here I see a steady slight increase and the accumulation continues.

Conclusions

It seems the bear market in the game continues, so now is the time to keep accumulating and reinvesting. We have land launches and a lot of new updates and cards ahead of us. It's unknown which way the future of the game will turn, but at least I like the fact that we're developing even more than we did in the bull market.

I'm also looking forward to cutting bots in Wild mode, since that's what I play. It will be interesting to compete with real people again.

Will the bots adjust this time, or will we again expect sabotage from the farms, which will result in another dumps in the market?
