Gone in 60 Seconds

Big event today in Splinterlands environment: the release of the new Riftwatchers expansion card set. The presale was limited to the first 500k packs and it was sold out in seconds.

The Riftwatchers comes with the highest price per pack, and with a novelty: all revenue goes to the SPS DAO and will be used in the interest of all the SPS holders. Yes, the new cards will change the high mana battles, but still... three million dollars, spent in seconds? That's a big WOW!

The event animated the trading charts of SPS and VOUCHER tokens, but this is only the beginning: next week we expect the presale of the new Splinterlands Tower Defence, which again is expected to be a success (in my opinion, even a bigger one, as it will be for the first time when a third party developer gets access to the Splinterlands world and builds a new game on top of the existing game assets).

I was planning myself to take part of the presale of the Riftwatchers, but I underestimated the popularity of the event, and I was too slow with my decision. Now I need to regroup and adapt my strategy.
