Splinterlands Investing #002

Its been some months since i made a post. I have been making tons of moves in Splinterlands to invest into more Splinterlands assets. About a month ago I was buying all kinds of different assets on the WAX blockchain. Bridging them over was manually by the team(automated coming soon). Was buying WAX when it was .06$ or less and buying up cards and land plots to flip or to use. I was getting land claims for Splinterlands for under $30 because of prices. Selling the for $45 but you cant sell them for that anymore because people caught on. But there is still a ton of them for sale for 5k WAX. Still some margins but i stopped doing and and still have one. Another flip i was doing was flipping Alpha packs till the owner of the Splinterlands Alpha packs on HIVE jacked up the prices but was buying for 200 HIVE and selling for $25 on the Splinterlands Market. I got this tip from gathering the magic on YouTube. If you don't follow him on YouTube he has a market watch every weekend. Great tips from him. Some other stuff I was doing was flipping grain plots. I sold one at the peak for $29 and paid $17. I have bought quite a few over the past few months. I haven't really mathed it out but I'm pretty break even on my land plots production. Mainly because I rent most my cards. But I do produce AURA and trying to get enough research to get another permit. Should be around the end of the month or early April and ill have 10k Research in that region. Then ill sell the rare magical plot. I paid $30 and its worth at least $45 based on the market. More recent moves i made was to buy standard packs off Splinterlands for Conclave Arcana. Paid .$2.5-2.7 per pack and have been slowly selling them for $3.5. 25% or more return on what I paid in DEC. I used all my land DEC for this and sold some packs to get back my DEC for land. I bought 29 packs with that DEC and got it back plus extra for 20 packs. Good return on these. Still have 50 on Conflicts but i don't have any guarantees for the airdrop so ill probably sell sooner than later. Today i loaded up for the upcoming voucher cards in Splinterlands. I don't think the Vouchers are quite priced in and there could be some flipping opportunity coming up. I bought 2500+ but will probably use them and not flip. I want 1 of the legendary and 60 of the common. This is for play as I have started playing Splinterlands again after several months. I was still botting the game and keeping up with land. Just wasn't engaged with the game. After seeing the escalation cards that I opened I wanted to try out what i had and play again. I bought 150 Escalation packs and managed to get 248 on the presale leaderboard and got some great prizes. Like the rare title and promo cards. I opened 25 right away when everyone was opening them and managed go get a Gold Foil Arcane rare. The rest didn't yield any jackpot prizes. I did a huge mistake with that GFA. I was changing prices and was trying to sell it for $90 and put $9 and it sold instantly No way of reaching out to the guy to try to get it back. If I didn't do this I would of been up overall on my Escalation packs. I'm about break even at current prices. But that's ok I will use the cards to generate more funds by winning in the game with them. I actually think Escalation packs right now are a great buy. Either for the Conflict airdrop coming, open up to use, or to flip down the line in a few months. They are cheap for the value they provide and there isn't a lot of them either. If you want something to flip i would suggest Vouchers and Escalation packs. Keep an eye out on the land marketplace. Theres always good deals on there. Thanks for reading!
