It seems it stopped being a game some time ago. I've not played for ages anyway. It just wasn't worth my time and all the new stuff is too complex for my simple brain. If they can't attract new players then they may be doomed.

Oh it's still a game, at least in Modern and not a bad one... but not one for me. The rest of it is an extremely complex menagerie of layered ideas and takes some time to settle into the average brain.
I am not adverse, in fact I'm quite the fan, but can see it's not for everyone.
