Splinterlands is a digital card game. Each Splinterlands card is a unique NFT. Splinterlands cards can be bought, sold, rented, won or delegated.
A peculiarity of Splinterlnds cards is that if you have double cards, these can be fused together to obtain more powerful and more useful cards during battles.

Below I show some leveling up of certain cards:
Card Upgrade - KHA'ZI FIRE MAGE

I owned this card at level 1 and with the merging of 5 level 1 cards I upgraded it to level 2
Today the purchase value of this card at level 1 is $0.09, or 92 DEC.
This level 2 card has an est. value of $0.45 and a POWER of 25
This level increase from 1 to 2 adds value to the card's speed going from 2 to 3.
This level 2 card has the following characteristics:
Attack: 1
Speed: 3
Armor: 0
Health: 3
Ability:
SCATTERSHOT: This monster's attacks hit an enemy target randomly
DODGE: Has a higher chance to evade melee or ranged attacks.

Personal considerations
I found it useful to level up this card because it is a card with a fairly low mana cost, i.e. 4, furthermore at level two it has a speed of 3 which combined with the fact that it has 2 abilities makes the card and the upgrade to level 2 even more interesting.

Upgrading a Card - SARIUS

SARIUS
Card from the series: Gladius
Card type: Rare
Elemental card: fire
Mana Cost: 3
Attack type: Ranged attack
I owned this card at level 1 and with the merging of 5 level 1 cards I upgraded it to level 2
This type of card cannot be purchased on the game's internal market. Gladius cards can be obtained by purchasing Gladius card packs.
This level 2 card has a POWER of 40
This level increase from 1 to 2 adds value to the card's health which goes from 3 to 4.
This level 2 card has the following characteristics:
Attack: 2
Speed: 3
Armor: 0
Health: 4
Ability:
BLOODLUST: Every time he knocks down an opponent's card, he gets +1 to all stats.

Personal considerations
I found it useful to level up this card because it is a card with a low mana cost, therefore useful for battles that must be fought with 12/16 mana. I find its BLOODLUST ability useful in fights and by bringing the card to level 2 the health increases, therefore increasing the probability that the card can fight for longer and therefore increasing the possibility of exploiting its ability.

Conclusions
Increasing the level of cards is important to increase the probability of victory. So in Splinterlands having double cards is not a problem, on the contrary, it can be an advantage.

Considerazioni personali
Ho ritenuto utile aumentare di livello questa carta perchè è una carta con un costo mana abbastanza basso, cioè di 4, inoltre a livello due ha una velocità di 3 che unito al fatto che possiede 2 abilità renda la carta e l’upgrade al livello 2 ancora più interessante.

Possedevo questa carta a livello 1 e con la fusione di 5 carte di livello 1 l’ho aggiornata a livello 2
Questa tipologia di carta non è acquistabile sul mercato interno del gioco. Le carte Gladius si possono ottenere acquistando pacchetti di carte Gladius.
Questa carta a livello 2 ha un POWER di 40
Questo aumento di livello da 1 a 2 aggiunge valore alla salute della carta che passa da 3 a 4.
Questa carta a livello 2 possiede le seguenti caratteristiche:
Attacco: 2
Velocità: 3
Armatura: 0
Salute: 4
Abilità:
BLOODLUST: Ogni volta che abbatte una carta avversaria, ottiene +1 a tutte le statistiche.

Considerazioni personali
Ho ritenuto utile aumentare di livello questa carta perché è una carta con un basso costo di mana, quindi utile per le battaglie che si devono combattere con 12/16 mana. La sua abilità BLOODLUST la trovo utile nei combattimenti e portando la carta a livello 2 la salute aumenta, quindi aumenta la probabilità che la carta possa combattere più tempo e quindi aumenta la possibilità di sfruttare la sua abilità.

Conclusioni
Aumentare il livello delle carte è importante per aumentare la probabilità di vittoria. Quindi in Splinterlands avere delle carte doppie non è un problema, anzi, può essere un vantaggio.
