First WOO tournament

Hello everyone,
This weekend the first WOO tournament was being announced. As we are waiting for the WOO rewards to go live, the WOO staff decided to organize the first WOO Weekend Rumble. As I am quite active in the WOO community, I didn't want to miss this event. Maybe the potential winning of a WOOPARTSUN, the equivalent of WOO land, helped as well.

I was matched against @supersamio, another veteran in terms of WOO. He has a great collection of WOO NFT's so I knew it wouldn't be easy. As I have quite some leveled cards as well, I definitely had good hopes IF luck would be on my side. It turned out to be a battle with a cost of 23. The cost is the WOO equivalent of mana. As this is a fairly low amount, the possible choices are rather limited in awaiting of gear and/or WOOBETA. It turned out to be a mirror match:

As you can see in above picture we both used the same wrestlers and no managers were applied, ofcourse because od the low cost. There was one little difference though and that was the first match. Here my Arty Wright was max leveled (lvl. 3) whereas the opponent's was lvl. 2.

It didn't make that much of a difference though as the final score was 1-4 in the advantage of @supersamio. Ofcourse I blame bad luck as it was mirror match but on the other side I definitely grant it to him! Congratulations and well done!

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They aim to bring back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The public beta of the game launched on December the 13th. It's an autobattler in the theme of wrestling. There are 3 undercard events and 1 main event. Winning an undercard event gives you 1 point and winning the main event gives you 2 points, so 5 points are what we're fighting for. There are wrestler NFT's and manager NFT's which gives bonuses to the wrestlers. In the near future you'll be able to earn $WOO, just by playing the game, a real #play2earn game!
