What is WOO?
WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They aim to bring back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The launch for the game is aimed to be in Q3 of 2023. To be able to launch, they already sold out 60k WOOalpha packs through various sales through 2022. Their WOOAlpha general sale sold out in 99seconds! Besides the wrestlers and managers which could been found in the card packs, they also need cities (often called land plots, but in WOO, we talk about cities). #Being about 1 year in WOO
About 1 year ago I joined the WOO discord. Since than a lot has happened!
It all started with the WOORAVEN sale, there was a WOOSATURN sale before, ut I missed that one. I saw the twitter giveaways passing by of @wrestorgonline but didn't feel like participating in Twitter giveaways. After I kept seeing those giveaways, I finally made the decision to get to know this project. So I participated in the WOORAVEN sale by buying a couple of WOOALPHA packs and so receiving some WOORAVEN packs.
I flipped some packs at that time to try and get my hands on more packs which was slowly working out. When the mining and airdrops started I first thought of just going for the airdrops. After 1 week, I saw that the results of mining were incredible so I jumped ship and tried to get as many mining points as possible.
Slow but steady my #woo collection was growing. I wanted to accumulate as much $woo as possible towards the general sale, as packs were only buyable using $woo. The general sale was sold out in 99 seconds, so I couldn't buy all the packs I wanted. But was still able to get 600 packs, a nice amount of Silver Belt Sonny Onnoo's and a Gold Belt Sonny Onnoo :D

What was your initial investment and what has been its return? 🤔
I didn't track it properly so not that easy to say. Just checked the chain and I initially bought 34 packs in the raven sale, so purchased those for $68
Besides that I invested last summer about $200.
Along the way I used the rewards from hive posts to scoop up something here and there, no idea at all how much this would be in total, but let's say $250 (this seems to the upper hand to me, but yea, don't know for sure) So in total I spent about $500, made some $ from flipping aswell which I reinvested.
If I would add all #woo assets that I own at this moment, it would be worth about $4000 (note that pack prices are rather low atm, it has been $5000 - $6000 in the past), so I can say so far it turned out well (although profit is profit when you cash out). But in my opinion this project is definitely going in the right direction!

I entered WOO I think just after the Raven sale. I honestly was doubtful if they were going to pull through with what they intended for the game. But the more I stayed at Discord, the more I became aware of how passionate the team and the community is in developing the game.
I was kind of suspicious aswell in the beginning. But like you, the more I engaged with the community and the staff members, the more I started to trust them.
The ideas look promising, the animations with which @wrestorgonline is teasing us are really awesome and they are supporting real people who deserve a better life. Those are really some nice ingredients for an awesome project if you ask me :)
