How to earn WOO?

As the game launch of the game is imminent, it's a good time to reflect on how get $WOO, the governance token of Wrestling Organization Online. As there aren't that many ways left to get them since the airdrops ended back in July.

Staking

If you already have some $WOO tokens, you can stake them which will result in earning even more staked $WOO tokens. At the moment of writing, staking $WOO tokens gives you an apr of about 16%. This definitely isn't something crazy as what is possible in the crypto space but I think it's a good way to earn some more tokens while waiting for the game launch!

HP delegation

Another way is to delegate Hive Power to @wrestorgonline. For doing so, you'll receive $WOO tokens. As you can see on above picture, at the moment of writing, this will earn you an apr of about 23%. Remember that actively curating only gives about 10%, so yes, it's very attractive to delegate some HP. As you can see on above picture, I am not delegating at the moment. This was as I wanted to have some HP myself to upvote articles or comments I like. BUT, chanches are big, I'll soon delegate some to WOO, as it's one of the Zealy quests! :D

Liquidity pools

As you can see on above picture, you can add liquidity to several liquidity pools to earn some $WOO tokens as a reward. There are several pools exisitng with different tokens. So if you want to be able to earn some rewards while holding onto your tokens, don't forget to check them out. The rewards for the different pools are in the range between 23% and a whopping 60%, definitely worth to check those out!

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They aim to bring back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The launch for the game is aimed to be in Q3 of 2023. To be able to launch, they already sold out 60k WOOalpha packs through various sales through 2022. Their WOOAlpha general sale sold out in 99seconds! Besides the wrestlers and managers which could been found in the card packs, they also need cities (often called land plots, but in WOO, we talk about cities).
