Hello everyone, yesterday, I had a talk with @hdmed about which elements he is missing or would like more information about in regards to the WOO project. I thought it would be a good start for an article so here I go! :D

First, I want to point out that there is a lot of information available, though it's kind of splintered in different articles of @wrestorgonline. BUT, luckily there has been a gitbook made with the main ideas of the game. Ofcourse, if you want to know all details, you should read all the articles. The gitbook could be found here. But now, let's talk about information which I am missing at the moment:

Roadmap 2024

Ofcourse 2024 still has to start but, as it's nearly New Year's eve, it's getting closer and closer. There are several updates which I am foreseeing in the near future, like bug fixes, rewards, crate openings and further away: ghost cards, gear, beta packs, promotions, championship titles, etc. But I have no idea what the timelines would be, so a roadmap would definitely be helpfull.

Rewards

We already have some high level information about rewards which will be available. $WOO will be given as rewards and in the future, not sure when exactly, freelance wrestlers could be won as well. Besides these, the idea is there to have buildings which could earn you other tokens of partnered projects as well. Although I think this last item is really for the far future.

Onboarding new people

We know that a referral program will be started in the future. Although here again, I am wondering when it would happen and ofcourse how it would be done exactly. Besides referrals, I think ghost cards are another important aspect to let people try out the game without having them to purchase NFT's. Personally I tried out Splinterlands that way and got hooked with it because of the trial.

These are some of the puzzlepieces I am looking forward to learn more about. I am sure we'll soon get more information though!

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They aim to bring back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The public beta of the game launched on December the 13th. It's an autobattler in the theme of wrestling. There are 3 undercard events and 1 main event. Winning an undercard event gives you 1 point and winning the main event gives you 2 points, so 5 points are what we're fighting for. There are wrestler NFT's and manager NFT's which gives bonuses to the wrestlers. In the near future you'll be able to earn $WOO, just by playing the game, a real #play2earn game!
