WOO public beta launch

Hello everyone, yesterday the long anticipated public beta launch of WOO was finlly there! Now, everyone is able to play the game, as long as you have some WOO nft's. In the future, there will be 'ghost cards' so that people without WOO nft's could try out the game as well, without earning rewards, like you can play Splinterlands with starter cards. Talking about rewards, these aren't yet activated as eventual bugs are being solved regarding the game itself and the latest finetuning is ongoing for the rewards themselves as well.

Anyway, what I mainly wanted to show you guys are my first three matches I played in the public beta yesterday. I don't want to brag, but I won all three of them :D I have to admit though that afterwards my streak was already broken and I lost a couple more matches. The game just wanted to give me the opportunity to have some won matches to show in this post I guess.

This was my first public beta match. It was a person I haven't seen before in the WOO discord, so I think it's really great that even 'inactive' or 'newer' people are trying out the game as well in my opinion!

This was my second game, here again the same note as the first game and it was even a rather close game. Luckily for me I went all in for the main event (which is worth 2 points if you win compared to 1 point for winning a 'subevent'). Anyway, great game and well played!

This was my third game, another rather close game and this time it wasn't anyone I didn't 'know', as it was the lead-dev of WOO. I have to admit it boosted my confidence in terms of how good my deck is. (As said afterwards I started losing though..)

Conclusion

I want to congratulate the WOO staff with their public beta launch, the game is really running smooth for me! The most important aspect: I am really enjoying it! By the way, I didn't talk yet about the music, if you play the game, you should definitely not disable the music, it's great as well!

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They aim to bring back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The launch for the game is aimed to be in Q3 of 2023. To be able to launch, they already sold out 60k WOOalpha packs through various sales through 2022. Their WOOAlpha general sale sold out in 99seconds! Besides the wrestlers and managers which could been found in the card packs, they also need cities (often called land plots, but in WOO, we talk about cities).
