Into the Splinterverse Episode 48 Lotto Chest Cause A Big Burn
I was alone for this one but it turns out @bebeomega was sleeping on the job. I hope that you are all doing well. I went over how the lotto packs caused a big burn. You can rent to play and earn more than it costs. ALso SPS rental market seems to be growing that is nice to see a 9% apr a lot instead of the old APRs under 5%. It has been thinking about buying some SPS to rent out. I will cover that if I do it.

woah why bebe sleeping on the job. the lotto chest was fun while it lasted but it really shows the potential for the shop. imagine being able to buy whitelist for other crypto projects etc if they wanted to. this could bring others that enjoy the web3 space to play splinterlands maybe. i'm not sure but there's a lot of diff things that can be done
The loot chests were a good idea, but the implementation was not the best. It seems the team did not do much research and testing on the Jackpot. The jackpot rewards were supposed to last for months, but they were almost depleted in a day, and that was before EOS. What's worse is that a big bot farm seems to have gotten a lot of the rewards. They returned a few, but it seems they sold a lot already.
