My Splinterlands Journey till now and next steps /La mia avventura in Splinterland fino ad ora e prossimi passi [ENG/ITA]

Hello Hivers and welcome back,
as I said in previous post (you can find here), I started my journey on Hive Blockchain on July 7h 2021, when I started play Splinterlands.

Are almost four months that I started play the game and from there, game is changed a lot. I subscribe to Splinterlands just to try the game, but after a couple of days I decide to invest 10$ into Spellbook to start earn cards and DEC. It’s not easy to me to invest money into a blockchain game, but Splinterland mechanics give me a lot of fun so i decide to give a chance.
So 10$ leaves my Paypal account.

I Start doing daily missions every day with base cards. Was hard, but I always finish my mission in time. DEC rewards anyway, started to drop off day after day.

After about one month, seeing other players gaining lot of cards and boxes from their missions and seasons, I decide to try investing some money on Quest Potions. It was August.

I buy about 10 potions for, if I remember correctly, 7,5$. This boosted significantly my account because Big Luck makes me found 2000 DEC in a daily mission Box.
Anyway, after I use 7 potions, price of potions changed and so I don’t buy potions anymore.

In the meanwhile, SPS aidrop started and that’s make me gain about half SPS everyday.
Not so much but remember that I invest about 17.5 $.

Today, Net Value of my Splinterland account is 46.94$. (+264%)

Not bad, but now comes bad news.

Big problems arrived about one week ago when game directions decide to reduce card drop from boxes in Bronze Levels and also DEC rewards in Bronze levels.
So now, I can just earn potions and sometimes little bunch of credits. My deck can only let me to Bronze 2 ranks at best.
My low investing journey on Splinterlands seems over.

So, what I will do now?

Easy, I start invest more.
Game has good, fun and easy mechanics. A single game is very quick and small time consuming, good for mobile playing. Also game and community is expanding a lot and airdrop make me confindent to not lose value on my invest.

Ok, so how you want to invest?
Easy. I have 36 Alchemy Potions and 36 Legendary Potions. Next month start the Chaos Legion expansion sale, so I will buy 36 Chaos Legion packs. Also this is an easy way because I could pay with credit card or paypal.

36 boosters means 144$ and also 180 new cards that hope will help me go to silver ranks and start gaining reward cards and DEC.
Also my deck power should increase and that means more SPS airdrop. A Chaos legion Pack give 300 Airdrop Points, wich means 300x36=10.800 more Airdrop Points. Now, an Airdrop Point give me 0.00013 SPS, so 0.00013x10800x250 days left of Airdrop should gave me about 351 SPS.
If SPS mantain today value of 0.51$, 351x0.51=179$

So, I can repaid my investment with futures SPS Airdrop.

That are my future steps on Splinterlands.
As I say, I don’t easy invest real money in play to earn games, but I think Splinterlands has good mechanics, it’ fun, it’expanding and that’s make me confident that will maintain value of my investiment.

come ho detto nel post precedente (potete trovarlo qui), ho iniziato il mio viaggio nella Blockchain di Hive il 7 Luglio 2021, quando cominciai a giocare a Splinterlands.

Sono almeno quattro mesi che ho iniziato a giocare e da allora il gioco è cambiato molto. Mi iscrissi a Splinterlands giusto per provare il gioco ma dopo un paio di giorni decisi di investire 10$ nello Spellbook per iniziare a guadagnare qualche DEC. Non investo facilmente in giochi legati alle blockchain, ma le meccaniche di Splinterlands mi hanno fatto divertire così tanto da decidere di dargli una opportunità.
E' cosi che 10$ lasciarono il mio account Paypal.

Iniziai così a fare le missioni giornaliere con le carte base. Era dura, ma alla fine ho sempre finito la missione in tempo. Le ricompense in DEC però iniziarono presto a diminuire.

Dopo circa un mese, vedendo altri giocatori guadagnare molte carte e scrigni dalle loro missioni e stagioni, decisi di provare a investire nelle Quest Potion. Era Agosto.

Comprai circa 10 pozioni per, se ricordo bene, 7,5 $. Questo potenziò significativamente il mio account anche grazie ad un colpo di fortuna che mi fece trovare 2000 DEC.
Comunque, dopo aver usato 7 pozioni, il loro prezzo cambiò e non ne acquistai più.

Nel frattempo iniziò l'Airdrop di SPS e questo mi fece guadagnare circa mezzo SPS al giorno.
Non molto, ma ricordiamo che avevo investito circa 17.5$.

Oggi, il valore netto del mio account su Splinterland è di 46,94$.

Non male, ma ora arrivano le brutte notizie.

I problemi più grossi arrivarono circa una settimana fa quando la gestione del gioco decise di ridurre la probabilità di drop di carte dagli scrigni e anche le ricompense in DEC dai ranghi bronzo.
Quindi ora posso solo guadagnare pozioni e qualche volta una piccola quantità di crediti e il mio deck può solo portarmi al massimo al rango Bronzo 2.
Il mio viaggio con bassi investimenti in Splinterlnds sembrava finito.

Quindi, cosa farò ora?
Semplcie, inizierò ad investire di più.
Il gioco ha buone, divertenti e facili meccaniche. Una singola partita è molto veloce e richiede poco tempo, ottimo per giocare dal cellulare. Inoltre il gioco e la community sono in rapida espansione e l'airdrop in atto mi rende abbastanza sicuro di non perdere il mio investimento.

Ok, quindi come intendo invstire?
Semplice, ho 36 Alchemy Potions e 36 Legendary potions. Il prossimo mese inizia la vendita della espansione Chaos Legion, quindi comprerò 36 pacchetti. Inoltre è molto semplice perchè potrò pagare con carta di credito o Paypal.

36 pacchetti significano 144$ e 180 nuove carte che spero mi aiuteranno a raggiungere il rango argento, permettendomi di tornare a guadagnare DEC e carte con le daily.
Inoltre il mio Deck Power dovrebbe aumentare e questo significa aggiori SPS in airdrop. Un pacchetto Chaos Legion dovrebbe dare 300 Airdrop Points, che sgnificano 36x300=10.800 Airdrop Points in più.Oggi un Airdrop Point mi da 0.00013 SPS, quindi 0.00013x10800x250 giorni mancanti di Airdrop dovrebbero fornirmi 352 SPS.
Se SPS mantiene il valore attuale di 0,51$, 351x0.51=179$

Quindi, dovrei poter coprire il mio investimento con l'Airdrop futuro di SPS.

Questi saranno i miei passi futuri in Splinterlands.
Come già detto, non investo facilmente denaro in giochi play to earn, ma penso che Splinterland abbia buone meccaniche, sia divertente, in espansione e mi srende tranquillo che il mio investimento possa alla peggio mantenere il proprio valore.
