Ho iniziato a giocare a Splinterlands il 7 Luglio 2021. Come per molti altri è stato la mia porta di ingresso sulla blockchain di Hive. Era la mia prima esperienza con il play2earn e temevo che avrei finito solo col perdere soldi. Il mio approccio fino ad ora è sempre stato basato sulla prudenza e lo studio, anche perchè molti cambiamenti sono occorsi da quando ho iniziato.

I miei investimenti

Splinterlands è l'unico progetto in cui ho investito denaro. L'ho fatto solo all'inizio del mio percorso, tanto che non considero più quei soldi spesi come un investimento specifico del gioco, ma sulla intera blockchain di Hive.

Da allora ho deciso che avrei investito solo quello che sarei riuscito a guadagnarmi dalla mia attività su Hive. Non un singolo dollaro è stato più speso e mi sono posto come obiettivo che un giorno avrei ritirato quanto ho investito, rendendo quindi autosufficiente tutta la mia attività sulla blockchain. Splinterlands rimane tuttavia il progetto principale su cui sto puntando e la mia strategia si basa principalmente sull'investire tutte le ricompense mensili che ottengo dalla mia attività, una volta che sono riuscito a mettere da parte 100 Hive per il Power Up Day.
L'investimento avviene acquistando il token di governance SPS e mettendolo in stake. Ho un orizzonte di lungo periodo su tutto l'ecosistema di Splinterlands e credo che possa riservare delle piacevoli sorprese per il futuro.

Come è andata l'ultima settimana

E' iniziato un nuovo mese per cui ricomincia la salita per accumulare i 100 Hive mensili per fare power up. Questo implica che non sto accumulando SPS e non continuerò a farlo fino a che non ho raggiunto il mio traguardo mensile.
Detto ciò, tutto procede da programma:
Lo stake di SPS da degli interessi che vengono a loro volta messi in stake;
L'airdrop di GLX mi fornisce circa 5 GLX al giorno che converto in SPS da mettere in stake.
La Pool VOUCHER: SWAP.HIVE continua a generare lentamente qualche SPS da aggiungere allo stake;
I 12 pacchi di Towe Defense continuano a fornire airdrop di SPS. E' sempre una piccola quantità giornaliera, e non la sto mettendo in stake, ma comunque la sto ottenendo.

La buona notizia è che ho raggiunto la soglia dei 5.000 SPS! Non sono tanti, ma sono comunque soddisfatto del risultato! Spero in futuro questo gruzzoletto possa fornire qualche soddisfazione.

La mia collezione di carte è arrivata a 61, di cui 40 dai Chaos Legion Packs che ho aperto. Sto partecipando a un po' di giveaways e tutto ciò che possiedo lo sto mettendo in affitto, portando a casa una media di 13 DEC al giorno. Una miseria, ma DEC dopo DEC spero di poter acquistare qualche carta in più.

Come già detto, il mio sogno e quello di poter dire che la mia attività su HIVE sia autosufficiente e sostenibile.

Posso quindi dire che è stata una settimana non entusiasmante, ma funzionale. Indicativamente la prima metà del mese mi aspetto sarà sempre cosi, per poi migliorare nella seconda metà.

I started playing Splinterlands on July 7, 2021. Like many others, it was my gateway to the Hive blockchain. It was my first experience with play2earn and I was afraid that I would end up just losing money. My approach up to now has always been based on prudence and study, also because many changes have occurred since I started.

My investments

Splinterlands is the only project I've invested money in. I only did it at the beginning of my journey, so much so that I no longer consider that money spent as a specific investment in the game, but on the entire Hive blockchain.

I have since decided that I would only invest what I could earn from my Hive business. Not a single dollar was spent anymore and I made it a goal that one day I would withdraw my investment, therefore making all my business on the blockchain self-sustainable. However, Splinterlands remains the main project I'm aiming for and my strategy is mainly based on investing all the monthly rewards I get from my business, once I've managed to save 100 Hives for Power Up Day.
The investment takes place by purchasing the SPS governance token and staking it. I have a long-term view of the whole Splinterlands ecosystem and I think it can hold some pleasant surprises for the future.

How was the last week

A new month has begun so the ascent begins again to accumulate the 100 monthly Hive to make power ups. This implies that I am not accumulating SPS and will not continue to do so until I have reached my monthly milestone.
That said, everything is proceeding as planned:
Staking SPS gives interests that are in turn staked;
The VOUCHER: SWAP.HIVE Pool continues to slowly generate some SPS to add to the stake;
The GLX airdrop gives me around 5 GLX per day which I convert into SPS to stake.
Towe Defense 12 packs continue to provide SPS airdrops. It's still a small amount per day, and I'm not staking it, but I'm still getting it.

The good news is that I've hit the 5,000 SPS mark! Not many, but I'm still happy with the result! I hope in the future this nest egg can provide some satisfaction.

My card collection has grown to 61, including 40 from the Chaos Legion Packs I've opened. I'm participating in a few giveaways and I'm renting out everything I own, bringing home an average of 13 DEC per day. A pittance, but DEC after DEC I hope to be able to buy a few more cards.

As already mentioned, my dream is to be able to say that my HIVE business is self-sufficient and sustainable.

I can therefore say that it was not an exciting week, but a functional one. Indicatively the first half of the month I expect it will always be like this, to then improve in the second half.
