Ho iniziato a giocare a Splinterlands il 7 Luglio 2021. Come per molti altri è stato la mia porta di ingresso sulla blockchain di Hive. Era la mia prima esperienza con il play2earn e temevo che avrei finito solo col perdere soldi. Il mio approccio fino ad ora è sempre stato basato sulla prudenza e lo studio, anche perchè molti cambiamenti sono occorsi da quando ho iniziato.

I miei investimenti

Splinterlands è l'unico progetto in cui ho investito denaro. L'ho fatto solo all'inizio del mio percorso, tanto che non considero più quei soldi spesi come un investimento specifico del gioco, ma sulla intera blockchain di Hive.

Da allora ho deciso che avrei investito solo quello che sarei riuscito a guadagnarmi dalla mia attività su Hive. Non un singolo dollaro è stato più speso e mi sono posto come obiettivo che un giorno avrei ritirato quanto ho investito, rendendo quindi autosufficiente tutta la mia attività sulla blockchain. Splinterlands rimane tuttavia il progetto principale su cui sto puntando e la mia strategia si basa principalmente sull'investire tutte le ricompense mensili che ottengo dalla mia attività, una volta che sono riuscito a mettere da parte 100 Hive per il Power Up Day.
L'investimento avviene acquistando il token di governance SPS e mettendolo in stake. Ho un orizzonte di lungo periodo su tutto l'ecosistema di Splinterlands e credo che possa riservare delle piacevoli sorprese per il futuro.

Come è andata l'ultima settimana

La settimana appena passata ha confermato le mie aspettative. Ho raggiunto la soglia dei 100 Hive accantonati per la fine del mese, quando farò Power Up. Posso dirmi fortunato perché ho raggiunto questo traguardo il 12 del mese, permettendomi così di poter devolvere le ricompense dei prossimi 19 giorni all'acquisto di SPS. da quando ho definito il mio sistema di strategie devo dire che sono molto più sereno e vivo tutto con molta più calma, togliendomi ogni tanto qualche piccola soddisfazione.
La principale novità dell'ultima settimana riguarda la conversione dei token GLX in SPS. La strategia prosegue costante ma oltre ai GLX che ottengo dall'airdrop e dallo staking, ci sono anche quelli che derivano dallo Stacking dei pacchi di carte. Ho infatti acquistato durante la presale, 8 pacchi di carte che ho prontamente messo in stake per beneficiare subito delle ricompense da staking. Sono così passato dalla mia media di 5 GLX al giorno da convertire, a quasi 10 al giorno.
Anche i pacchi di Tower Defense stanno continuando a produrre SPS dallo stake, ma al momento non sto riscuotendo questi guadagni per poterne tenere traccia in futuro. Probabilmente dovrei attivarmi per segnarmi quando li riscuoto, in modo da poterli mettere a rendita con lo stake. Anzi, quasi certamente la prossima settimana leggerete che l'ho fatto.
La pool VOUCHER:SWAP.HIVE da sempre un rendimento molto basso, ma costante. Devo aggiungere fondi alla mia posizione e probabilmente lo farò alla fine di questo mese. Il token VOUCHER al momento è quello che trovo forse con minor significato. Probabilmente sbaglio io, ma in questo momento dovrebbe avere un valore più alto di quello che ha e invece langue su soglie molto più basse. Probabilmente ciò significa che è un buon momento per metterlo in pool.

La mia collezione si è ampliata un poco e sono arrivato a 72 carte, di cui 40 uscite dai pacchi Chaos Legion che avevo comprato. Ho continuato a partecipare a qualche giveaways e qualcuno lo ho anche vinto. Ma le carte nuove non arrivano solo da li. Sono contento che la collezione cresca, perché significa anche avere più carte da prestare e mettere in affitto o da usare quando usciranno nuovi casi d'uso.

Non credo che riuscirò a raggiungere i 6000 SPS entro fine dell'anno, ma proverò a farcela.

I started playing Splinterlands on July 7, 2021. Like many others, it was my gateway to the Hive blockchain. It was my first experience with play2earn and I was afraid that I would end up just losing money. My approach up to now has always been based on prudence and study, also because many changes have occurred since I started.

My investments

Splinterlands is the only project I've invested money in. I only did it at the beginning of my journey, so much so that I no longer consider that money spent as a specific investment in the game, but on the entire Hive blockchain.

I have since decided that I would only invest what I could earn from my Hive business. Not a single dollar was spent anymore and I made it a goal that one day I would withdraw my investment, therefore making all my business on the blockchain self-sustainable. However, Splinterlands remains the main project I'm aiming for and my strategy is mainly based on investing all the monthly rewards I get from my business, once I've managed to save 100 Hives for Power Up Day.
The investment takes place by purchasing the SPS governance token and staking it. I have a long-term view of the whole Splinterlands ecosystem and I think it can hold some pleasant surprises for the future.

How was the last week

The past week has confirmed my expectations. I have reached the threshold of 100 Hive set aside for the end of the month, when I will do Power Up. I can say I'm lucky because I reached this milestone on the 12th of the month, thus allowing me to be able to donate the rewards of the next 19 days to the purchase of SPS. since I defined my system of strategies I must say that I am much more serene and live everything much more calmly, every now and then giving myself some small satisfaction.
The main news of the last week concerns the conversion of GLX tokens into SPS. The strategy continues constant but in addition to the GLX that I get from airdrop and staking, there are also those that derive from the Stacking of packs of cards. In fact, during the pre-sale, I purchased 8 packs of cards which I promptly staked for immediate user of the staking rewards. I have thus gone from my average of 5 GLX per day to convert, almost 10 per day.
Tower Defense packs are also continuing to produce SPS from staking, but I'm not currently collecting these gains so I can track them in the future. I should probably take steps to mark myself when I collect them, so that I can rent them with the stake. In fact, you'll almost certainly read next week that I did.
The VOUCHER:SWAP.HIVE pool has always had a very low but constant return. I have funds to add to my position and I probably will at the end of this month. The VOUCHER token is currently the one I find perhaps with the least significance. I'm probably wrong, but right now it should have a higher value than it does and instead it languishes on much lower thresholds. That probably means it's a good time to put him in the pool.

My collection has grown a bit to 72 cards, 40 of which came from the Chaos Legion packs I bought. I kept entering a few giveaways and even won some. But the new cards don't just come from there. I'm happy that the collection grows, because it also means having more cards to lend and rent or to use when new use cases come out.

I don't think I will be able to reach 6000 SPS by the end of the year, but I will try to do it.
