Splinterlands update - all aspects of our investments and game
Introduction
We thought we would start doing a bit of an update on Splinterlands and how we are doing. I am getting into Splinter so am taking over from Front. We do not play that much but seem to have invested quite a bit into it and like collecting cards and things.
Battles
So we are in Wild league and are currently in Gold, last season we ended in Diamond which was a new thing for us! Nice to see we getting up there!
Battle rewards
Ok so there is this whole new vibe going on. On the plus side it has stopped some SPS inflation, on the downside we not getting any SPS....pros and cons I guess! SO now we have glint this is what we have so far, we spent a bit for a few not so good cards.....so lets see how it goes!
Card rentals
Well we cant say our collection value or renting is going particularly well...but we still very bullish on Splinterlands even when everything does not seem to go well we hope that in the next cycle things will pick up, although the gaming competition in this space is tough. Splinter is an OG and has proven itself with the test of time, so fingers crossed.
Land
Now here is another story I am not sure about. I mean we got some land, is it worth it? We are not convinced right now but time will tell. I guess with the SPS price so low then it probably isn't but things can quickly change. So we not gonna touch it and just see which way the wind blows!
Conclusion
With what amounts to thousands of pounds invested I would not say that that money is performing particularly well. The new battle rewards are an unknown factor and I am not sure I like it yet. However it is a cool game and they are still building so we are definitely there and along for the ride, even though we are hoping for better days to come!
