Chill Sunday Speculating and Getting Wins

Hey SPL fam,

It's a perfect Sunday morning to be chilling with some coffee and my cat, winning some battles, and speculating about card purchases :)

Two days ago I went on a little shopping spree and picked up some Legendaries that add great value to my two favorite splinters (water and death).

• Ancient lich - I've lost plenty of matches to this card to know how useful it is :P $30 down from $60? Yes please.

• Djinn Muirat - I was a little more hesitant with this guy because it's CL, I have 200 packs lined up, and wasn't sure if it would go cheaper. Then I thought for $8.90 there's no way this guy stays so cheap in the long run. I'm glad I did...it already jumped a bit past $10. Void shield + Thadius + scavo = bye bye green magic spammers :P

• Another CL Legendary I wasn't sure about, but so glad I bought for $9.90 as it's jumped the most in the last 2 days. This guy came through in the clutch immediately for a poison match where it resurrected my cleansed Sea Monster to save the day. Can't wait to get it to lvl 2 for that inspire.

I've got my eye on a few other Untamed and Beta Legendaries that have seen price tanked since I assume people are selling what they can to buy more packs...hopefully my speculations pay off in the long run, but even if they don't, I like playing these legendaries in my lineup :)

In general, all I hear is "wait for the general sale...12M packs...flooded with supply...etc." and most agree. I'm not convinced though. I have a feeling so many people are waiting for the same thing that we very well could see the opposite effect. Time will tell :)
