#61 Mitica Headhunter - Splinterlands Art Contest (ENG/ DE)

Hello dear Hive Alien Art Crew, Hive Community and Splinterlands Fans,

Well, dear ones? How was the weekend? I was busy drawing, but also preparing my things so that I can move on in about 2 to 3 weeks and move to the island of my choice. I'm already a bit excited, not only full of anticipation for the new location, which looks extremely beautiful, but also curious to see how fit I'll be after the move. After all, I have a 3-hour drive ahead of me, then a 5-hour ferry ride and a final 30-minute drive. Well, I was still highly motivated and dedicated myself to drawing at the weekend, perhaps also to take my mind off the stress of packing. 😅

This time I was really taken with the character "Mitica Headhunter". So freaky and special that I really wanted to try drawing it myself. But today it's anime style for now, if I can call it that (I'm still practicing 😅) but with artworks created by the users @hadley4 @almightygrim @legendofhonata or @jijisaurart I am very motivated to get better myself. Thank you dear ones for inspiring other artists like me so much and motivating me to try new things with your art. Especially because of the good manga/anime style you have.

But back to my choice this week, I found the character of "Mitica Headhunter" more than interesting in appearance. Even though I made some changes to my variation, with the other main features like color or inks you can easily recognize him or what do you say?

I am looking forward to your opinion. Here are a few individual steps of my drawing today.

Na ihr Lieben? Wie war das Wochenende? Ich war mitunter fleißig am zeichnen, aber auch am vorbereiten meiner Sachen, so dass ich in ca. 2 bis 3 Wochen weiterziehen und umziehen kann auf die Insel meiner Wahl. Ich bin schon etwas aufgeregt, nicht nur voller Vorfreude auf die neue Location, welche extrem schön aussieht, sondern auch gespannt wie fit ich nach der Strecke sein werde. Denn immerhin erwarten mich ca. 3 Stunden Autofahrt, dann noch die Fähre von ca. 5 Stunden und abschließend eine letzte Autofahrt von ca. 30 Minuten. Naja, trotzdem hochmotiviert hatte ich mich am Wochenende dem zeichnen gewidmet, vielleicht auch um mich vom Packstress abzulenken. 😅

Dieses mal hatte es mir der Charakter "Mitica Headhunter" angetan. So freaky und besonders, dass wollte ich unbedingt selbst probieren zu zeichnen. Heute aber erstmal auf Anime Art, wenn ich den Stil so nennen darf (übe mich ja noch darin 😅) doch bei Kunstwerken wie von @hadley4 @almightygrim @legendofhonata oder @jijisaurart ist man sehr motiviert selbst besser zu werden. Danke ihr Lieben, dafür dass ihr andere Künstler wie mich hier so mega gut inspiriert und durch eure Kunst motiviert (neues auszuprobieren). Speziell wegen dem guten Manga/ Anime Stil welchen ihr habt.

Aber zurück zu meiner dieswöchigen Wahl, ich fand den Charakter von "Mitica Headhunter" mehr als interessant von der Erscheinung. Auch wenn ich einige Änderungen an meiner Variation vorgenommen habe, mit den anderen Hauptmerkmalen wie Farbe oder Inks kann man ihn gut wiedererkennen oder was sagt ihr?

Ich bin auf eure Meinung gespannt. Hier nun ein paar einzelne Schritte meiner heutigen Zeichnung.

Ich habe diesmal auch speziell das Manga Format gewählt, normalerweise nehme ich schlicht Dina 4 Formate.

Auch könnt ihr das Tool bzw. den Pinsel sehen, welche ich zu Beginn wählte, um die Skizze zu beginnen.
Ich dachte mir, mehr Einblicke wären auch mal nice.

I can visualize my normal drawings better in my head, so I can usually just start drawing, but when I'm practicing in styles that are still quite unknown to me, I have to take several steps so that I don't mess it up and the drawing is successful in the end.
That's why I used lots and lots of layers so that I could correct any mistakes as quickly as possible.

Meine normalen Zeichnungen kann ich mir besser im Kopf vorstellen, so dass ich meist drauf los zeichnen kann, doch wenn ich mich in mir noch recht unbekannten Stilen übe, muss ich mehrere Schritte machen, damit ich es nicht verkacke und die Zeichnung am Ende auch gelingt.
Daher habe ich sehr, sehr viele Layers benutzt, um eventuelle Fehler schnellstmöglich korrigieren zu können.

After I was satisfied and finished with the sketch, I continued with the coloring... Bringing in some color and life.

Nachdem ich soweit zufrieden und fertig mit der Skizze war, ging es weiter mit dem ausmalen... Mal etwas Farbe und Leben reinbringen.

To translate some of my german native words I used deepl.com. After I edited and corrected some parts because deepl.com couldn't translate all slang words perfectly. Just wanted to make this clear too.
