Eid-ul-Azha is a very meaningful and memorable day, the acceptance of the prayers on this day has been indicated by the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so we should all repent and seek forgiveness on the day of Eid. Not verbal, but practical repentance. Pray before the Lord, ask for forgiveness for your shortcomings, sins and do everything possible to please your Lord. Remember, "sacrifice" has been an integral part of all religions since the beginning of the world. It is an offering of life before Allah, which is offered by using an animal as a substitute.
It is known from the heavenly scriptures that the history of sacrifice began with Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him). This sacrifice is mentioned in the story of Abel and Cain in the Qur'an. It is described in the Bible as Cain brought a gift of fruits to the Lord and Abel presented his sheep, the firstlings of the goats and their fat as an offering to the Lord. The Lord accepted Abel and his offering, when That he did not accept Cain's offering. What was the method of acceptance and non-acceptance adopted at that time? There are many opinions in this regard. However, there is a clear indication in verse 183 of Surah Al-Imran that Allah, the Exalted, in order to bring the consciousness of Himself to the level of belief and faith in human nature, initially this method of acceptance of sacrifices. It was decided that fire would come from the sky and consume the offerings offered by the people.

However, after this incident of Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him), the sacrifice gained a special importance and universality so that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave it the status of Sunnah. This incident was also described in the Holy Quran and other previous scriptures. It is said that when Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) prayed before Allah, Allah gave him a son in the form of Hazrat Ismail (A.S.) at the age of about 90 years. They were able to lend a hand. It can be estimated from the birth of the first child in the old age, how dear this son will be, but the true Muslim is the one who does not value anything in the world more than the pleasure and pleasure of Allah.

He does not even care about life. This was the reason that Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) got ready to sacrifice his only and beloved son with his own hands as soon as he got a hint in a dream. Rather, he understood the command of the Lord and said, "You obey this command of Allah without hesitation, you will find me steadfast, God willing." They took him to the hill and laid him on the ground on his forehead for sacrifice. The fulfillment of God's commandments was near that the knife would have gone from his hand, a call came from Allah, "O Abraham! You made the dream come true. "Sacrifice of the son was actually a great test, on which Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) came down completely, he was made the Imam and leader of mankind. Then every year, as a memorial of this incident, this sacrifice is performed on the same day. The Sunnah of was established forever. This is the sacrifice, which we organize on the occasions of Hajj and Eid al-Adha.

The purpose of celebrating this memory of sacrifice is also to create the same true spirit of sacrifice, the state of faith and the spirit of love and loyalty to our Lord within the Muslims, which was demonstrated practically in the entire life of Hazrat Ibrahim (AS). Comes. If a Muslim sacrifices an animal without this awareness, then he sheds the blood of that animal unjustly, which Allah has no need for. arrives In the Holy Qur'an, the order of sacrifice is described in these words, "For every nation We have established a rule of sacrifice, so that the people (of this nation) may call upon the name of Allah over the animals which He has given them." Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (RA) says that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) stayed in Madinah for ten years۔

In the religion of Islam, not only the religious life of Muslims, but also the orders related to the civil and social life have been given and some manners have also been prescribed. However, in the present era, not only non-Islamic activities have been included in the Eid celebrations, but also many rituals of Jahiliyyah have been introduced, so Muslims should follow the instructions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his companions. Maintaining social distance from buying a sacrificial animal to taking care of it is not an easy task. However, try to fulfill all the requirements of precaution. Then, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha for the past several years, there have been reports of the spread of the Tick Virus, which is bred in the skins of animals. Also, this year try to do the sacrifice with your own hands, so that the chances of spreading the corona virus are minimal.
Be it Eid-ul-Fitr or Eid-ul-Adha, it is also an opportunity to have fun with remembrance and thanksgiving to Allah, and also, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wanted to bring us into a civilized relationship through these festivals, so these festivals are only Don't limit it to sports and entertainment, but try to achieve higher goals like high morals, invitation to the famous and victory of the religion of Islam through them. Also, in view of the same instructions of the religion of Islam, children should be informed about the reality of this religious festival and the correct ways to celebrate it.
Three parts of the meat of the sacrifice should be made. One should be kept for the family, one should be kept for relatives and friends and one part should be distributed among the poor. It is not right to sell the meat of the sacrifice or give it to the butcher for wages. The skin of the victim should also be given as charity. Also, there is great merit in slaughtering the sacrificial animal itself. If self-slaughter is not possible, then the process must be attended. The Islamic method of purification is slaughter or sacrifice and both of these methods aim to purify the meat from impurity of blood.
