I hope you all are enjoying the recent pump in Splinterlands assets which is a clear sign of the bright future of the game! The crashing market is going to end in the Splinterlands soon or later. I am also very satisfied to be one of the Splinterlands believers because my Portfolio of the game assets like my card collection has started increasing again. And now I am feeling that I should go far with some solid addition to my assets. In that perspective, I am going to discuss adding more RIFTWATCHER PACKS in this discussion.

Today I want to share my recent buying of RIFTWATCHER card packs and making a more than 50% loss in the return value. But I wanted to try my luck after a long time in Splinterlands and it is the first time for the RIFTWACHER packs as I have never bought them earlier. And I have told many times that very few small buyers like me gained in buying packs! But if you are a believer in the game then your card will be expensive in the future when you will get the return. Still, I have a more solid reason behind buying the packs as follows-

• As the price of the card packs is going to boom after the end of CHAOS season and you need a ton of cards for LAND expansion also.

• If I was lucky I could get one legendary and that will make the complete deal into a beneficial one!

• I don't have any RIFTWATCHER cards for high MANA matches so I need to expand my decks.

• I am only spending my earning from the Splinterlands weekly contests for writing blogs here. So, whatever the outcome it is always a win-win deal!

• The Utility of these cards is going to skyrocket when the existing cards are staked with the LAND mechanism.

• Already the prices are increasing and so I wanted to buy in early stage!

I have spent a total of around 96 HIVE worth around $44 to buy these 10 packs which potentially save another 6 bucks when I buy from the official sites as I am not competing for the airdrop as I couldn't be able to buy that amount.

Though I have lost significant value I am going to buy more before the price spikes before the end of the CHAOS sales as only 1 million left. Besides, I have also so many use cases for these cards as I am plying Splinterlands and my assets are not decreasing anymore after the huge crash.

Is it a loss to BUY PACKS?

As I mentioned the use cases and the coming changes will make the cards market expensive but why buying PACKS is a solid option? I can answer these with the following points-

• The price of the RIFTWATCHER cards is already much higher than the CHAOS or even more than some DICE and UNTAMED cards for the SPECIALIZATION of the HIGH MANA matches.

• Look at the price of the legendaries of the RIFTWATCHERS which are so useful to have one so it is not a bad idea to buy packs for having some great LEGENDARY for the edition.

• From the future price appreciation perspective, buying RIFTWATCHER packs and storing them for future trade will be another great strategy though I am here for building my decks it is a good investment idea.

• The most attractive point is that whatever the price of other assets like HIVE, SPS, and DEC drops drastically the pack value will be still a stable one which can be a great chance to increase your HIVE, SPS, and DEC portfolio dramatically in that situation! And with the general cryptos, definitely, the assets will increase also which makes it a win-win situation in any situation!

• Finally, the liquidity option of Splinterlands is becoming more and more stable which will benefit from the assets value perspective where many countries like my own country are suffering a lot with the inflation.

Let's see what I have gotten by opening these 10 packs.
I have opened them in 4 times like 2-2-3-3 like the football ground format!
I have got multiple gold foiled cards which will be very helpful for my alternating account where most of my cards and summoners are with gold foiled and I can enter into the gold foiled BRAWLs to support my GUILDs to get more rewards!

I have got several DRAGON monsters which I always use and they are so helpful for your decks. I have also got multiple BCX of the 'CORS AIR BOSUN' which is a great card for the LIFE team for HIGH MANA matches and I don't have it even in level 2!

Also, some high mana cards will be upgraded to level 2 in my decks now as I can't use them as lower-level cards drop the rewards significantly if they are in level 1 only! So, it is necessary to upgrade to a higher level to get sufficient rewards and escape from the deduction in the rewards from each battle.
