Customization of Avatar And Your CARD In Splinterlands

Hello, my lovely friends in the Splinterverse.

I hope everyone is having a great time in Splinterlands, with much more fun with new cards and new strategies. The Splinterlands is becoming more exciting as new abilities are coming to the Splinterverse regularly. After the introduction of the Winterfest to the game with some exciting Christmas gift boxes for you to have and gift to your loved ones; now the game introduces the personalization of your AVATAR in your profile which is a great fun to hae your own avatar here. I think the team is also so excited with the release of the third part of the AVATAR movie! As my participation in the "Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: AVATARS & EXEMPLARS" in this post, I am going to talk about the customization steps for yopur own Avatar in your Splinterlands profile. I hope it will give you some fun for the your Splinterlands journey.

With the announcement of AVATARS and EXEMPLARS, the Splinterlands has implemented a central new system that redefines how players represent themselves and participate in the game with their own visual identity. It is not only the visula change but it has a fundamental expansion of the existence of a player in the game. With this change now player will have a fully customizable avatar using an RPG-style character system instead of static profile images. Initially, players will begin with a predefined set of options and with some upgradation to higher level they can do their own customization through gameplay and future content. Changing your avatar will require a craftable and tradeable consumable item from gameplay, which will be unlocked through the journey.

Now you can have a different interface when you click on your avatar in the right-upper side of the gaming interface and find an interface like the upper figure where you can have your profile info regarding your battle history and other related information of champion points, your collection powers on the right side. And in the left side you can have the avatar and the customization button of the avatar as EDIT AVATAR, EDIT EXEMPLER, and EDIT BADGES. You can also find your guild info and some other shortcut keys for match history or your collections.

From this interface, you can directly get into the core AVATAR customization section by clicking the EDIT AVATAR, and you will get the main avatar editing interface, like the following interface. The first option that you will get is the option to choose your preferred bloodlines. Interestingly, all of these are taken from the epic movie The Lord Of The Rings, including the Human, Elf, Orc, and Dwarf. Also it has two body type for both female and male to choose from them which can be furtehr personalized in the later section.

In the following section you can have more versatile options to edit the avatar with more details and colors. There are 5 sub sections to define all the required avatar editing tools including the Features, Extras, Outfits, Backgrounds, and the Frame.

The first option features includes the following editing options -

• face with different trait and color
• hair with styles and colors
• brows with different styles
• eyes with shapes and colors
• nose with different shapes
• mouth with different appearances

From the extras you can find the follwong options to edit -

• ear shapes and colors
• scars styles and colors
• tattoos if you want
• you can find different earings with colors
• differenrt accessories

In the later sections, you can find your appropriate outfits, frames, and frame that you want to wear or decorate for your avatar. Some of them may be locked that needs to level up your profile and some need the consumable thing to unlock them. The overall options are already too much to make your dream avatar and with further unlocked option yu will have a unique gaming appearance in the Splinterlands ecosystem.

Furthermore, there are some outfits already announced in the post for the outfits and the consumable things for more editing options as follows.

These need to spend some glint tokens for the selected items. Limited-time Winterfest cosmetics are arriving in the sphere as follows -

• A festive ugly sweater for maximum holiday spirit
• Special Winterfest hats to complete the look
• Additional seasonal outfits and accessories

Besides, the Polymorph Potion can be used to reselect your AVATAR’s bloodline and core physical traits. This lets you change who your AVATAR is, while keeping all other progress intact.

The Capacity Flux will allow you to reset your EXEMPLAR’s stats, refunding all spent points so they can be reallocated. This makes it possible to experiment with different builds without permanent commitment.

Both of these items are :

• Are craftable
• Are tradeable
• Can be acquired via the marketplace

The latter section ESIT EXEMPLER is to design your own card with your own avatar. EXEMPLARS let your avatar be a self-version of a card, also, which will give you the ability to create, customize, upgrade, and play your own card — a living, evolving Splinterlands card built directly from your AVATAR.

• This isn’t a skin.
• This isn’t a cosmetic variant.
• This is you, entering the game as a real card.

This is the most exciting fact that I love to have. But there is a limitation how you can design your card with the skill points that can be increased with leveling up your avatar.

The final section that is for showing your badges on your avatar that you want to customize from the existing badges you own. There are some defaults ones and premium ones that you bought or you have been rewarded through different events, purchases and others as you can see in the figure.
