Today I am going to share an outlook to the cheap DRAGON units in Splinterlands with their amazing abilities and explain the strategies to to replace some expensive cards with these cheap ones.

Why DRAGONS?

The first question arises for the players who are playing the game or who wants to build up a suitable and powerful deck with minimum costs: why is it necessary to focus on the Dragon teams? The most important reasons are as follows:

• Only the DRAGON summoners can be used with any other teams in Splinterlands. Some of the DRAGON summoners are better than the other SUMMONERS in many ways:

1. The cost effectiveness is very important for the new players which I will discuss later in the post.
2. The opportunity to use high level monsters is also a crucial issue that is to be consider for choosing the DRAGON summoners, especially for lower level and new players like me.

• The DRAGON monsters can be combined with any others team which make the team very strong and the winning percentage is increased significantly.

• You get some amazing abilities from the DRAGON monsters which are very expensive in terms of other cards of the game.

• With limited number of DRAGON summoners you can cover all of your battle with your high level monsters, but for separate team building will be very expensive in many cases.

First of all, let's check the DRAGON summoners first at a glance and find out the cheaper ones in current market price. Then we will start discussing about their price concerns, effectiveness and best strategies to choose the best one as an alternative to other expensive summoners.

To find out our best summoner, I will consider the Silver league which allow the max level cards as:

Let's investigate the Dragon summoners according the silver league in cost perspective. I will use the market price and listed price per BCX for better idea

In SILVER league, Delwyn Dragonscale will cost $80 (market price) and $200 (list price)

In SILVER league, Neb Seni will cost $392 (market price) and $480 (list price)

In SILVER league, Drake of Arnak will cost $96 (market price) and $173 (list price)

In SILVER league, Brighton Bloom will cost $198 (market price) and $230 (list price)

In SILVER league, Daria Dragonscale will cost $71.7 (market price) and $198 (list price)

In SILVER league, Kretch Tallever will cost $57.75 (market price) and $65 (list price)

In SILVER league, Selina Sky will cost $357(alpha) $300(beta) (market price) and $560(alpha) $420 (beta) (list price)

In SILVER league, Camila Sungazer will cost $120 (market price) and $138 (list price)

In SILVER league, QUIX THE DEVIOUS will cost $75 (market price) and $82 (list price)

So, after the price analysis, we can draw a conclusion in such a way that the most cheap DRAGON summoner is an EPIC summoner titles "KRETCH TALLEVER" that costs below $60 bucks for max silver league requirements and the next one is the Chaos Legion DRAGON summoner, QUIX THE DEVIOUS which will cost less than $80 for a max silver league copy.

But According to the abilities supported by these Dragon Summoners I will prefer the Selina Sky but for a new player that will be very costly.
Also the Drake of Arnak, Daria Dragonscale and Brighton Bloom will be a very considerable choice to play with!

Now, Let's move into another criteria about which Dragon units are better for playing with high level cards? The Common one? Rare ones? Epic one or Legendary ones?
I prefer to choose the Epic one because at level two You can use level 3 of RARE monsters which is more troublesome for Common or the Rare ones.
Just compare the following summoners:

So, it is noticable that with almost same amount cards will give little bit more flexibility when you will buty the EPIC ones.
And if possible, then To buy the legenday summoner is the best one.

Also, it is an important fact that the abilities provided by the EPIC cards are not so good enough and the KRETCH TALLEVER will give no ability, so it is crucial in this point to buy the EPIC DRAGON SUMMONER!

So, My final favorite DRAGON summoner will be the CL summoner 'QUIX THE DEVIOUS' which is my favorite and I am playing almost 30% of my matches with this summoner as I don't have the max summoner for all the team which is pretty expensive to get the max copy of Silver league summoner.

Conclusion

The final thought about the DRAGON unit is that it can be used in maximum battles and you can max out less amount of your other team's monsters with your max DRAGON monsters. This will significantly cut your deck cost.
According to my personal experience I have only EARTH summoner at level 4 and the QUIX at level 4 and KRETCH TALLEVER at level 4 and I can wing almost more than 40% battle in Gold LEAGUE 3, and almost 80% battle in silver LEAGUE 1. If I want to max out my all other's team summoner, it will cost a lot of money whic is not affordable for many players!

ANOTHER CONCERN IS ABOUT THE MONSTERS, YOU NEED TWO OR THREE SUMMONER AT MAX LEVEL ACCORDING TO YOUR LEAGUE BUT YOU NEED A TONS OF MONSTER FROM ALL THE TEAMS OR A5T LEAST 3 TEAMS TO DO BETTER IN THE GAME!
