First of all, I want to congratulate myself for climbing to the gold league officially with my own collection power of more than 100K which was a dream when I created my account last year. Really, It is the most significant achievement that I have achieved in my Splinterlands journey.

I have learned a lot of things and made myself competent to win battles. Now, I am going to start a new journey with a new level, more competition, and more learning opportunities. ** At gold league 3, my initial impression is quite horrible!** In the silver league with my silver level deck, I can win matches very easily but now in the gold league, my deck is the lowest category among the others. So, it will be difficult for me to sustain myself there but I will learn many things here to make improve my capability.

I have completed almost a 10 months journey with Splinterlands which has been started in August 2021. Though I created my account in July but started buying cards in August to play the game. At that time I bought very few cards after being entertained a lot by learning numerous abilities, and game rulesets and my bonding with the game has relentlessly become stronger.

In this post, I want to share my experience of how I have entered the gold league through my consistency and hard work, and most importantly the passion. Initially, I will request to read my first ever profile evaluation which I posted last month where I have started my current status of the financial report with my $1500 investment. I think for new players the following tips will be beneficial which I have learned in this long journey. If you can understand properly, you will gain success faster than me.

• First and the most important tip, always count your investment which you invest here, every penny you invest is earned by you with a lot of hard work, so don’t spend a penny blindly. And don’t invest more than you can afford of losing, never invest your life savings. If you are following the crypto, you must know about the LUNA and UST, and how their investors have lost their total investments!
• Always buy cards to build a stronger deck if you are investing very few amounts of money, don’t gamble your money through very few card packs. Remember only bulk opening of packs can make you profitable, make sure to open with sufficient potions. You can try 1/2 pack opening to check your luck but don’t gamble. You can get some packs through loot chests and you can get the excitement of pack opening.
• Always use the bidding system in card markets, sometimes you can get cards at 10-40% cheaper with the bidding system. The listed price is always higher. But in this case, you need to be very patient and often you need to update your bid price to get the card faster.
• You can buy LAND which is currently the most underrated asset in Splinterlands. It will give you a huge profit in the future.
• Learn the strategy properly before buying cards for your deck. As a new player and with a smaller investment, don’t try to make all of your deck stronger. Among the 6 splinter teams, 2-3 stronger teams will be okay for more than 70% win rate.
• Pay attention to the market trends, now SPS is very cheap, you can grab some, and there are dozens of earning opportunities to earn in Splinterlands. Keep your eyes open and follow the Splinterlands blogging where many players like me share battle strategies, investment strategies, and their experience in the game. You will learn a lot of things from these posts.
• Always try to complete your daily quest and get some loot chests as rewards and often you will get many cards and free DEC. If you are lucky enough you can get some gold foil legendaries worth a lot of money and collection power.
• Before the current reward sets, I have invested a little amount of money in buying quest potion to have some more reward cards. But from the next season quest potions will not be available more.
• Another most important fact is that join the weekly challenges for blogging about Splinterlands in Hive blockchain. You will be awarded 2 upvotes by @steemmonsters and with that reward, you can buy some cards. Recently I have bought $40 of cards with these rewards to achieve a 100K collection power level.
• Don’t be short-sighted, learn about the upcoming updates and slowly grab all the opportunities here, and you will see your progress after 2/3 years. And that time you will be so grateful to yourself for joining the Splinterlands and for being a part of it.
• Don’t sell your game assets in these bear markets, try to hold these for the next 3/4 years. You will gain multiple times your investments.

Account security

Many people lose their account keys, but blockchains need to keep keys safely.

If you lose your keys, you lose your all assets in the blockchain.
In the current time, you can be a prey to spamming, so never share your keys with anyone even with the members of the Splinterlands community. It can result in the complete loss of your assets. So account safety is very crucial for not only Splinterlands but everywhere in the blockchains.

How I have invested in Splinterlands

My investment strategy was quite a bit random but good thing was that I didn’t spend all of my money at once. Actually, I have invested gradually in buying numerous cards. I used to buy some cards when the market started crashing after the parabolic movement. So, my suggestion is to divide your funds and keep buying at every deep opportunity. Don’t panic if prices go down, try to buy some more and wait for the pump. I have done some excellent trades with this strategy, you can check my profile to get some strategy-related posts.

Some of my mistakes in SPLINTERLANDS

First of all, I didn’t know about the amazing Splinterlands community in hive blockchain. I didn’t notice about logging in to my hive.blog account, as I bought the Spellbook directly through my Metamask wallet. I didn’t know about learning the best strategies to do well in the battle. I never joined any tournaments, even now I Couldn't as I used to be busy with my studies.

Even I didn’t know about Splinterlands support for sharing the player experiences, battles, and arts through Hive blockchain. You will be astonished to hear that I am writing and trying to get some extra rewards for only last months! Though I am late here I am getting some extra rewards every week with which I can buy some more cards to build my deck stronger.
I have learned little by little and now when I get free time I start sharing my experience throughout the weeks and make it a complete post when I get the opportunity to get rewarded by the Splinterlands.

My card collections

Basically, I play with the Chaos Legion cards now as a latecomer, other cards are very expensive. Though I have bought many non-CL cards for the game's future perspective as I mentioned in my last post. I have bought the necessary non-CL cards which I use frequently.
MY SUMMONERS

Currently, in Gold league 3, my card collection includes summoners with level 2 but the EARTH summoner is at level 4 and DETH summoner at 3 with an EPIC DRAGON summoner with level 4. And a Legendary summoner of level 2. My next target is to make the legendary dragon summoner upgrade to level 3 for the Gold league requirement. I like to play with the dragon most of the time as I can make a team with all the other teams.

You can see most of my cards are the COMMON and RARE oriented and I use them much more in my battles. For monsters, I am still trying to max out my monsters according to my league in this cheap market. My strategy is to buy cards not to buy packs as I can't afford the card's pack price and the potential risk of pulling very bad cards. I also buy and sell cards in peakmonsters when I see some opportunity in my queries for cards.

I am very happy to enjoy the fun in the game with a lot of excitement and further additional things are on the way with the LAND EXPANSIONS, NEW CARDS, NEW SPELLS, and ITEMS which will make the game more interesting. So, I am very bullish on SPS, and I am not looking for the 1/2 years I am looking for 2025.

• The future integration with LAND EXPANSION, SPELL, ITEMS and new cards will bring more fun.
• The SPS rewards with the battles and guild brawl will bring more rewards which create more earning opportunities.
• With more new players the assets will boom with increased price.
• Decentralization of the game will make it more trustworthy and stable

In conclusion, still I am on the positive side with my Splinterlands assets in this crashed market. And I am getting the SPS airdrop of 8 SPS per day, getting daily quest every day, the seasonal rewards, getting rewarded for weekly challenges. So my assets will increase in a stable way. And I am satisfied with the game and its developments and future roadmap.
